We explore and seek to understand you as a whole person rather than focusing only on one specific illlness or condition. The meaning of the word "Yoga" is "union". Yoga is an ancient practice that cultivates the union of the mind, body and individual consciousness and its purpose is to unite ourselves with our highest nature. Though many think of yoga only as physical poses or postures, the practice of yoga is actually an art and science dedicated to creating union between body, mind and spirit.
A deeply relaxing practice of supported poses, guided relaxation, yogic breathing and an extended savasana (final resting pose). This meditative practice cultivates a necessary balance between body and mind while dissolving physical and mental tension.

For students of any level seeking to reduce the effects of stress, Restorative yoga is a gentle, relaxing and passive form of yoga that allows students to relax and release the body into a gentle and extended opening.Soft and gentle postures will assist individuals to quiet the nervous system and achieve physical, mental and emotional relaxation.
Hot Stone Therapy involves the use of heated basalt stones, a volcanic rock that absorbs and retains heat. Basalt Stones have been used for therapeutic purposes for many years. In Hot Stone Therapy, the practitioner positions the stones on chakra and/or other energetic areas of the body.

This therapy promotes profound relaxation, increased detoxification by way of increasing blood and lymphatic circulation, and relief of long-standing muscular tension, stress and fatigue.Mind body balance is easy to achieve with Hot Stone Therapy alone or when combined with other modalities.
Holistic Stress Management sessions address the impact of stress on the human condition. Sessions and classes are offered so individuals can live a fuller life and improve their wellbeing. Sessions may include, but are not limited to art therapy, music therapy, humor therapy, meditation, visualization, energy medicine, managing stress experienced in our everyday lives and stress associated with disease.
