These poor reviews seems to be from people who were beat and didn't get an apartment but apartment hunting in Hudson county is always going to be high volume.
I've had an amazing time with Quality Urban Properties. I got this apartment because I was very proactive and first ti submit all applications; so they prioritized my application. Every time I've called the office for something, they've listened and addressed my needs. And the needs to fix an apartment is the same everywhere; gonna need repairs! Be warned, Quality Urban Properties is among the worst companies to rent an apt from. "Quantity" is obviously more important than "quality" as they have many properties to choose from, although each one seems to be worse than the next. They will take the cheap way out in every situation. Their maintenance team is nothing but a joke. As a tenant, you will wait months for even the slightest repair. Eventually they will send an unqualified individual who will take up hours & hours pretending to "fix" the problem, only to patch it so it is never really repaired properly. They will lie right to tenants

I made an appointment to see an apartment at 41 Baldwin Ave. at 11AM today with Maria. I made the appointment on Tuesday and called them yesterday to confirm my appointment. Maria told me that she would meet me in front of the building at 11AM yesterday. When I arrived at the building there were 3 other people waiting as well. Long story short Maria never came even after an hour of us waiting; she didn’t call and neither was the office answering our calls. What a waste of time and money, very unprofessional.

Don't feel safe residing in my building; random people come in and out of the building engaging in illegal activities thru out the day and night constantly and much haven't been done to prevent this from re occuring. Also the up keeping of maintenance is terrible. Premises is messy and trashy from the inside to the outside. I guess when you pay cheap you get poor value in return back.

Avoid this company by all means !!!! Lying schemes and tactics. Do NOT trust your information with this company. And do not give them $50 for an application fee. The will take your money. You’ve been warned. And I’m sure you have already heard about to lack of actual QUALITY of the listings they have on their websites and other 3rd party rental websites such as trulia and street easy etc. Just save your money and time and find another company. This place needs to close. Seriously.

Saw an apartment at 168 Seaview Avenue. Roaches in the hallway and a pool of dead roaches in the apartment closet and under the sink. It was disgusting!!!!! They didn’t clean out the apartment or do repairs before showing the apartment and it looked a hot mess. The bedroom door was off the hinges and had a hole in the middle. Carpet was filthy. This is the worst management company. I would never!!!!

If I can give this place zero stars I would . Do not rent from this building . From the roaches to the no heat in winter ,this place doesn’t do their diligence. Cheap exterminator who comes in for a minute. He was still in the building and told him to please come into my apartment to exterminate and he said he didn’t have time when clearly other tenants did not open the door . He ignored me because he didn’t want to walk up the stairs . This is no way to live with a child !

Please do not do yourself the diservice of living here. They do not address service concerns in a timely manner, they do not maintain the quality of their buildings, they do not have service available outside of regular business hours so if you have a job and need something you might as well forget about it. They will provide nothing but continue to raise your rent. Your rent buys you nothing here. Slum lord.
