I was panicked because my electricity went out in only half of my unit. Sam to the rescue! I love this apt complex so much. Maintenance is quick to respond, the mgmt is efficient, and people really seem to care. We have so many things wrong in the world, but this complex does all it can to ease our concerns . it's a blessing to live here.

This apartment complex is wonderful. The maintenance is great, very responsive. The apartments themselves are a great price for the quality. But I have to say the best part about living here is how supportive the office staff is, always there to answer any questions. My family, like many, were put in a tough position because of COVID & we’re struggling paying rent. However, Kristin went above & beyond to guide me through the rent relief process & was with me every step of the way. I appreciate her so much for all her support. I have been a resident here for over 3 years now and I think that right there says a ton for an apartment alone. Not only is the location ideal but the complex itself is beautiful. All the workers are so friendly and so helpful. I have to mention specifically Erica Gonzalez because she has literally gone above and beyond for me and my family on so many occasions here. I have been here almost four years and can’t say enough about your maintenance dept. They have all been very helpful and nice and I feel they really care. Especially Gloria, if I could give her a rating of 10 I certainly would. I moved in the first week the new company took over, the office was a bit chaotic and my water heater was not working. After spending a cold nite I was upset and she was able to listen to me, calm me down and get to the problem and get it solved. I feel she really cares and I know she will always do her best to keep the residents safe and happy😊.

This place was actually quite a gem to find. The amenities are just what we needed for our children and we had the opportunity to interact with Gloria. She helped us get all set up with a few things we needed. The maintenance & admin team are super responsive! We strongly recommend Slate Creek!

I’ve lived at Slate Creek Apartments for nearly two years and have had a very positive experience. The property managers are wonderful to work with and the maintenance team is very quick to respond.
The property is in a good, safe location and within walking distance of shopping and dining as well as many nice neighborhoods I enjoy walking through.
My only complaint is that the parking situation can be tricky if you have more than one vehicle per apartment. You have one reserved parking space with your apartment, but an additional reserved spot is very expensive. Open parking can be quite difficult

THREE BEDROOM TENETS BEWARE... and the rest of you too! If you have more than 1 car, be ready for frustration and headache. $25 just to park in your own covered parking spot. $20 a month for ONE extra permit in a 3bd-- if you come home after 7pm, you will not find a spot. If you have 3 cars because 3 adults live in a 3 bedroom, one of you won't be able to park where you live. One of you will not be able to use your own car (hopefully you have somewhere to store it). They advised us (they will deny this) to park at the shopping center for overflow when we first moved in. (Only reason we agreed

My boyfriend and I saw a great deal on a one bed one bath apartment, we called and asked questions then applied online and paid the $104 application fee and even set up an appointment to come see the community. Shortly after we received a call saying we were approved and our application looked great. we soon received and email for a $200 holding deposit, which we paid! Just a few hours later revived another call from the same person that said our application looked good (that showed we had two cars), and he informed us that we were only allowed

This apartment is okay. Management is a swing and a miss. Carmen is always very nice, I appreciate her. Maintenance is so fast and does a great job. I had my AC replaced here and charged me nothing for it which is always good. I've had a lot of things fixed in this apartment. A couple of things to make note of though.
CONS:
1. Very thin walls and windows. I can hear everything going on outside my apartment and I'm on the third floor. My neighbors keep junk outside and do nothing about it. Do NOT live next to the pool! You will hear the gate slamming every time and summertime is a nightmare

We moved here at the very end of January so that we could lock in at a better rental price, we still have a month left at our the other rental property (which was a hell hole) Carmen, the sweet gal that helped my daughter and I make this transition smooth as silk. We were first shown a model unit and then the actual unit that we would get if we were to go forward.

Wow! Beautiful! Everything was brand new! The appliances and bathroom fixtures and counter and sink. The complex is huge, and extremely quiet. Unlike our last apartment. We had a herd of Buffalo (family) that lived above us. Anyways

The parking here is a joke. They expect you to pay $20 a month for a parking space that is not covered, and then do not have enough spots so you're stuck driving around the complex for 20+ minutes trying to find a spot. Half the time you park a mile away from your actual building. Multiple repairs have been needed to be made since I've moved in and have yet to happen. I understand things are at a slower pace due to covid but a simple returned phone call would be nice. I don't expect everything to be perfect living in an apartment, but this place definitely needs some improvements

This place is still incredible we still love it just as much even more than when we first moved in. The staff is incredible everyone is so friendly and helpful. We have had a couple of big maintenance issues with our apartment like the AC, heater, and sink and it was all fixed RIGHT AWAY. with the amount of units in this complex it is honestly amazing how fast they get someone out to you and get your problem taken care of. The maintenance people are all so kind too. This complex has been well kept the entire time we have lived here and they are very good at communicating when something is going

Haven't officially moved in yet but so far my experience with slate creek has been incredible. Not only is the location prime, the complex is beautiful and feels secluded, the amenities and upgrades are gorgeous but the staff is also AMAZING! Kristin was so incredibly helpful with the application process and went above and beyond to ensure we got the apartment we wanted. She was so kind and helpful and it's hard to find that kind of customer service nowadays. Everyone else in the leasing office was also so nice and accommodating. Can't wait to move into Slate creek!!

I've lived here off and on for 15 years. There's a reason I keep coming back. The property management is the best I've ever experienced.
Gloria has been with the maintenance team since the beginning. She always makes me feel at home and looks out for me as I am a single mom.
I literally cried when I had to say goodbye to her and the staff.
They will take good care of you as well. I will miss you Gloria , Sam, Erika , Carrie and the entire staff.

I had an electrical outlet that wasn't working and Sam F. came to do the repair. He was so nice, professional and thorough in checking to see exactly what was causing the problem. He repaired the outlet in a timely manner and I am very thankful. This is the second time Sam has helped me with a maintenance issue. Top notch for sure! Thanks Sam!

The complex is very nice. The repair guys respond promptly and are very helpful. The challenge is with management and security. Management is very legalistic and does not care about people. If they can charge you more money, they will.

On November 22, 2019 my Toyota Prius was vandalized from a parking space near my apartment. The thieves stole its catalytic converter. This is a $2,700 repair. On Saturday evening, May 2, 2020 it happened again, although they could not get the converter because All Muffer in Rocklin welded a piece of rebar onto the new one so the thieves couldn't use

This apartment complex has seen an extreme turn around. When I became a resident the property had just been acquired by a new management team (April). Ryan and Ericka were amazing at helping me find a unit that was the right fit for me. After a few months of living here, the carpet that the previous management had installed began to fall apart. I expressed my concerns to the property management Jessica and Ericka in the office and they went out of their way to make sure they could get approval to get my apartment taken care of! This place is terrible with the new management! Beware of all the hidden fees. Not only do they charge for extra parking they say you can pay the rent until the 4th, until you come in and they make get a money order and go through BS. They break into cars they steal tires. All the fees for what? Not even good security. Good luck if you end up getting an apartment here!

After talking to the office workers and them having the nerve to give you attitude instead of trying to defuse the situation is pathetic and unprofessional. Just overall disappointment, I have never been late on a payment, and

My boyfriend and I have lived here for a year. The management companies who have tried to manage this place are horrendous. Not one person has any competence.
When we moved in there was through up all over our toilet and bathroom door that the complex refused to clean. Our heater did not work and they told us it was a faulty thermostat however they did not have replacements. (We still have that faulty thermostat)..

Our carpet in the bedroom was soaking wet and smelt like mold... There was also a. Wet spot on the wall as if there was a leak in the plumbing.. when I put a work order in

My husband and I lived in a 2/2 on the Indigo side (by Sierra College Blvd) from summer 2018 to summer 2019.

I'll start with the positives:
1) Property is pretty.
2) Proximity to shopping and restaurants is a plus.
3) Apartments are spacious.

That's it for positives. Now onto negatives...

Would be 5 but we recently have had a few issues. When we signed our contracts we where told we get one covers parking spot and any open spot included in our rent. 4 months into a 12 month contract we are now told we are required to purchase parking permits, $25 each. (Not a huge expense but a lot when your budget is tight already and huge inconvenience when told it was FREE!!!)
We also keep putting in a work order that gets marked as complete but never gets completed!!
They have also fixed our AC twice and it keeps breaking down. It's 81 degrees in the apartment with AC and ALL fans on full

The property itself is beautiful, but that's about where the like of this place ends... I moved in at the end of April and the whole process from applying for the apartment to trying to get maintenance has been a joke. There was no communication with me after I submitted my application and despite several phone calls no one told me I was approved to move in. I have lived here for almost 4 years now and in that time this complex has had 3 different property management companies take over. Every single one has been a nightmare to work with. We've had several leaks throughout the apartment. My husbands car was broken into twice in two weeks. They took all his tools and management won't take responsibility for the piss poor security company they hired.
