Good Day, I needed assistance with a smoke detector going off early this past Saturday. I called the emergency number for maintenance, and within an hour, there was a gentleman at my home to help me (the issue was a low battery). I unfortunately did not get the name of the gentlemen, but I do appreciate that he was able to help me so early on a Saturday morning!

In the beginning, Harmony Oaks, McCormack Baron Management, were welcoming and accommodating. As a means of off-campus housing, roughly over a year, I took occupancy in their townhouse rental. In conclusion, the management team is highly unprofessional, they spoke to me, a student enrolled in the illustrious Xavier University of Louisiana, and my mother, who has been employed with her current career for over 15+ years, with such disgrace and disregard. In addition, they require a payment of a non-refundable security deposit, that does not apply to any damages or cleaning fee or monthly rent payments

I been staying in this apartments for 8 years we never had a major problem. Whenever we had issues that need to be fix they were there maybe a week or 2 later. You have to keep in mind, there are 100s of apartments they have to maintain. I do miss that they had a curfew for the kids and that helped tremendously of all the issues. If they get the security company to do their job it will be back to normal. You weren't allowed to sit out on the porch late at night, which is a good thing. These apartments were very strict on who they let in and that played a major part in the activity that goes on

We been here going on 5 yrs and what a downhill change indeed! Disrespectful children, theft, property damage, etc. Drain & Sewage system here are bad. The gated parking area fills with water after heavy rain. Sewage has backed in our home once before. They have cameras but you never can get a reply back about the footage, if any has been recorded. Property Management is horrible. All they do is lie and don't take into initiative their own responsibilities. Apartments are cheap, appliances are cheap, but rent is high for market rate. The children deface the property and nothing is done. Just don

If you are reading this, do NOT move to this place. I moved to harmony oaks several months ago and I am planning to move out ASAP. All you can see here is kids and teens running all over your parking lot all day, scratching your vehicles, kicking footballs to your window and vehicle, and also, trying to steal things from your car as well as your home. They will help you check whether your car is locked, by pulling the handles. And if it is UNLOCKED, they will certainly NOT tell you but take whatever they want, from your car.
