UPDATE...I didn't have a negative experience just disappointing experience with the way the financial discrepancies were not explained. Nice place. Questionable bookkeeping practices..we did like it there and Candace is great. Wish we COULD do over and turn our experience around. Peace and blessings.

I moved to Durham from out of state two years ago and was lucky enough to stumble across Croasdaile Apartments. It was a wonderful place to live and I was sad to move out (the only reason I did so was because I bought a house). The units themselves are very nice with large rooms (I had a 2 bedroom/1.5 bath) and lots of storage, including a large walk-in closet and extra shelving in the master bedroom and a good sized coat closet near the front door. The huge balcony was also a nice bonus, as were the large windows throughout the unit that let in a lot of light. The location is also great, as it

Updated review: A nice balance between cost and luxury but..
Let me first say thank you to the wonderful management team of Croasdaile. I thought to give it a 4 star but decided to give a 3 star and you will know why. I had to lease this apartment without having a tour as I was in India. So, in a word I blindly believed them and overall I don’t regret it. At a first glance It seemed to me that this apartment is overpriced considering its old building and interior but you get a lot instead. Let me explain what you get and what you don’t.
Things you get:
1. Though the buildings are old it

I love it! The management shift was a little weird as the property was bought by a different company than when I moved in, but I'm happy with how everything is now. Candace and her staff are always friendly. Most of the updates are nice, but I'm in an older unit which I love to death so I'm partial to it. Very quiet and situated by a golf course - my apartment has a view! Really good value for the money. Maintenance has changed a lot, too, but I think the current guys are pretty good - I like Mike the best. Just an all-around pleasant guy. Lived here for 3+ years with no plans to leave anytime
