I have lived here for a little over 10 months. I lived in Nashville years ago and needed to find a place quickly when I was offered a job last August. I wanted to be close to work and had always loved the 12 South area. Katherine was very friendly, answered all of my questions and showed me a one bedroom before I had to leave.

Hello, Im not happy with my experience with Gale Lofts because I feel they used this Covid crisis as a way to extort Admin Fees. I requested for our Admin Fees back but they refused to return it, despite the fact they found a replacement for us in a couple of weeks, which was no loss on their part. So extra money on their books all within July. My wife didn't like the unit because it was nothing like the vid they sent and the bedroom is directly under POWER LINES. They wouldn't allow self guidance tours like many other apartments. Not to mention the forced pressure to only see the unit

The best place I have lived yet! I have been here with my GF for about 3 months now and have nothing to complain about. All maintenance request are fulfilled very quickly, the neighbors are mostly respectful (even about noise), and overall the quality just looks and feels top notch. If I had to gripe about anything it would be the price, but I think this is pretty standard for Nashville. It is really close to a lot of restaurants and stores, easily walkable to a lot of places. I will update as I live here longer, but so far everything is great!

My wife and I lived at Gale Lofts for a few years, both in a 1 bedroom one the first floor and 2 bedroom on the third. Overall our experience was very positive, the apartments have a great industrial look and very comfortable vibe. The staff was always willing to help and took care of most issues that were in their control. The apartments are very nice all in all, nice big bathrooms, and very homey feel.
The location was fantastic, we were always just a few minutes from Downtown, 12 South, Green Hills, and The Gulch. You're right next door to a Kroger so we always just walked for basic groceries

When I first moved from New Hampshire to Nashville I had to lease a place without seeing it first. Based off good reviews and word of mouth, I found Gale Lofts and am so happy I did. The entire complex was beautiful and was very well kept! The staff were exceptional in ensuring that my stay was nothing short of fantastic. Very kind hearted people, great location, and free parking. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this area!

I have lived here for 7 months, and I have nothing bad to say about it! It is the perfect location. Everyone is extremely friendly, and there is a nice courtyard for everyone to hang out at! We rarely have maintenance issues, but when we do, Patrick (the maintenance worker), is always very quick to fix the issue! The price is great! Highly recommend!

Moved here 4/16. Lincoln changed Apartment managers around Febuary of 2017 and things have definitely improved. The upkeep of the property is much better and most of the grounds have been renovated/improved lately. The management is responsive to their tenants needs and any maintenance issues are addressed immediately.
I had considered moving this year, but the management change and the resulting improvements to the facility convinced me to stay. Gale Lofts has a great community and the location is ideal. If your looking for a cool spot to live-Gale Lofts is the place!

Pool has been closed more than open since I've lived here a year due to inspectors seeing rules broken or filters being broken or no maintenance person to clean pool / make sure it's up to standards. Which means can't use grills either. Elevator has been hit or miss functioning as well. Not everyone cleans up after their dogs even though there are bags and garbage provided. No recycling is offered but they make you pay for garbage pick up. Trains are pretty loud from this location and the garbage pick up is obnoxious if you live next to the dumpster.

I am absolutely in love with living here. I truly don't understand the comments that the other reviewers have shared. Yes, there's a mandatory valet trash fee, which seems silly in a 4 story apartment - agreed, but for the price we pay here in relation to neighboring apartment complexes... I'm happy to pay the $25/month.

While they do offer competitive pricing and 24-hour prompt maintenance services, their lack of follow up and communication is appalling. I've been trying for 5 months to receive a referral bonus check and have received little to no updates on its receipt. My lease renewal process was also a nightmare.
Their gym "update" was certainly a downgrade and they offer mandatory services such as valet trash that is not needed for a 4 story building. The units are nice with modern appliances but the poor management is enough to tell you NOT to live here.

I lived at Gale Lofts for 2 years. When I first moved in, I really liked it. The management was super friendly and supportive and it was a great value for the area. Between my first and second year, the rent increased, but by a small enough amount that it didn't bother me. When I went to resign my lease for the third year, they were suddenly asking for hundreds more a month. I think it has to do with the fact that the management changed and now is run by a company that seems plain sleazy. I spent almost 2 years at the Gale Lofts and cannot say enough about my experience. The apartments are well-constructed and I had virtually NO maintenance issues to speak of during my time there. The building layout has a very modern feel with all apartments overlooking the pool/outdoor space, which is very convenient during the summer months. Gale is pet-friendly and has a large, grassy area behind the building that includes two waste stations to pick up after your pup.
I must note - the Gale Lofts would not be the same without the Property Manager, Nyasha. Nyasha is an absolute Rockstar
