So a quick update guys going forward i will.never at governor green again fireplace doesnt work so its either to hot or to cold the maintenance guy didnt feel like it emergency to have 3 things broken cant wash clothes.cause the washing machine is broken with black glass on the inside hasnt been fixed let me see what else wrong ohh the freezer motor is broken not fixed , i could've stayed in my old spot steward manor which was so much better customer this very probably the worst spot ever i wish there was number lower then 0 i would rate it

Governor Greens has a new Property Manager ( Ms. G. Love) she has really done a lot of great work since she taken over in a short period of time. She will always talk with you about any issues and will follow up right away with them. The new Property Manager has done a lot of upgrades around the community and has make Governor Greens look much better. She is the best Property Manager I have come across living in a apartment complex before. I highly recommend leasing an apartment at Governor’s Green. Qwantina made the whole experience painless, starting with the online application, to the walk-through, and then executing the lease. She thoroughly explained the process, was very patient with me, and answered all of my questions. Qwantina kept me informed when my move in date needed to be pushed back due to an foreseen circumstance. There were a few items were noted during the walk-through and Qwantina ensured they were resolved by time the I picked up my keys. At first glance, the complex is beautiful, but, the apartments are old, the bathroom eww, all aspects of it, the kitchen is old, but I think the selling point for these apartments is in apartment washer and dryer, the dinning room area is extremely small, the living room area is a decent size, another good selling point is it's a three bedroom apt and I think it's has 2 bathrooms, it's just looks old on the inside, here in MD, the high cost of rent, this complex could be a refuge to a person needing a place to live. My husband and I moved our little family here in august of 2020 thinking it would be the best experience for our little ones. The apartments are nice but you have no access to the amenities that’s you’re basically paying for. The pools closed for the 2021 summer season, the playground is chained up with no access and the fitness center is no longer a fitness center. They state online that they have a clubhouse but the leasing office is the clubhouse that the resident are not able to use. Plus side is they have grilling areas if you want to have a small gathering with family and friends.

UPDATE: August 2021
I took a break from cleaning toilet fecal matter mess off the bathroom floor….yet again….for the 5th time in the 8months since I’ve lived here, to write this update. In addition to what I said previously (nothing has changed since then), the toilets clogging every other week is just something I never expected to have to deal with. Management said they were short staffed and that’s why emergencies, like toilets overflowing with human waste, has no one is on staff to fix it. The office has been closed “due to an emergency” all week. Today is

BEWARE OF THIS COMMUNITY complex, the application process is not explained to you properly, once you apply there is $125 fee that's taken IMMEDIATELY. The rental office didn't tell me if I was approved or not just had nothing more to say. Once I asked about my refund I was told i wouldn't get the entire refund and it could take up to 45days.
