I’ve come across many issues just living here but what was most shocking was the new management and front desk people.
Phone calls seemed like a joke to them and I don’t think my living is something to play around with.
When I called in to speak with someone I heard laughing, yelling and eating on the phone. This alone shows how serious they take their work.
These are people you need to work with on a lease and if they already don’t care to take the time to look into your situation this shows how living here will be. I highly recommend not living here —I’m a full time student and work

The Original Review was 3 stars, however management reached out and talked to me personally. I've edited the review with more context/thoughts, along with adjusting it to 5 stars. My call with them didn't sway any aspect of the edit, and the adjustment with stars was due to being impressed that management would call a tenant and discuss their review with them.

Staff is horrendous. Specifically Charity Lewis. She is rude, condescending and lazy.
During move ins, I was in my apartment by myself for 3 weeks while they got everything ready for new coming residents. I kept count...without warning 2+ men let themselves in my apartment with a master key 10+ times to do "maintenance". One of the times I was showering and another they were roaming in the living room while I was changing. I brought this up to the manager of the complex and he immediately blew up on me. Edited from my last 5 star review…. They keep raising rent yearly which is not normal. When I first move here rent was $533 (2020). Now I pay $620 (2021). Seems reasonable… But the cheapest you’ll pay here in 2022 is $704. They’ll probably raise rents again in 2023 to 800+. They are very understaffed and can’t keep up with anything. I work in real estate and their rental rates are way higher than the other “luxury” student apartments. The Axis was so dope…but now you don’t get what you pay for. There are better options out there for less than $704.

Definitely recommend this place to anybody interested, super fast and easy to work with. The door handle to my room broke about two weeks ago and I went on there website and requested for it to be fixed and not even a week later I come back home to a fixed handle. The amenities here are pretty sick too, the employees are very professional and polite.

quick fix if they were on top of things took 5
hours and charged me for it. We had
homeless people sleeping in the common
areas, and the amenities that they charge us
lots of money for aren't even that great.
They're usually locked or crowded with
people who don't even live here. The parking
situation is horrible and half the residents
don't even have a parking spot. Trying to get
out of the complex is like a maze because

The staff (Charity to be exact) is absolutely useless. They need to stop hiring 18 year olds who don't have a clue about what they're doing. They could care less about problems going on around the property. I'm honestly in shock how some of their staff got hired in the first place. You can break your couch by stubbing your toe on it. The cabinets are made out of literal cardboard. I've had 4 handles simply fall off by pulling them open because it's so cheaply made. I lived there about 6 months and was still missing furniture. Parking is an absolute joke. They have nowhere near enough parking spaces for how many residents they have. When I bought my contract from someone I was told that it would come with a reserved spot. When I brought this up to the front office they laughed in my face and said that they need to take that persons spot to put towards the waitlist and that I could be put on the waitlist. I asked them how long the waitlist was/when I could expect to get a spot and they basically told me that I

orem the people who work here are awful. My fenders off my
car got stolen. i asked them to look at the camera and they did for two minutes. and said they didn't see anything even though there are 3 camera near my car. i also got a emotion support animal and i gave them the paper work a few days late and they were not
nice about it. The hot tub water is always green and they do not do anything about noise complaints or any complaints. Also very expensive for how small the rooms are. Highly not recommend

I love the axis and it’s a great place to live, but with staffing and management changes it has seriously gone downhill. Last year they increased rent which was acceptable as construction had largely completed and it had great amenities. However the new management again wants to increase the rates even higher and they try to be sneaky with it. I’ve been here since the place opened and have renewed every time and because I love the building and the people who live here. However, the new management has gotten greedy and is demonstrating their lack of understanding of the market and economics

My company works with Axis and their management, and residents on a daily basis. I have never seen a more involved, caring, and responsive management team! Josh, Wes and the other staff are quick to help. I noticed that they know almost every resident by name and greet them warmly throughout the day.
The complex is gorgeous and the apartments are amazing and very well kept up.
The gym was designed by professional fitness athletes.
There is way more private study space than ever gets used.
The amenities are second to none, pool, hot tub, grills, sports courts, movie theaters, zen relaxation

I moved here thinking it looked nice, own room and bathroom, close to campus, figured it would be a good place to be. Very early on I started to see the money pit that it turned out to become. Move in date was middle of August, I paid full rent only for 2 weeks later another months rent to be due. This means you are charged a full month for only 2 weeks of housing. I then purchased a covered parking pass which means hypothetically I should have my own parking space. My spot was always taken, the office was closed and there is NO parking around for overnight

Management only cares about money and does not care AT all about the people living there. rent went up $200 just to resign. i lived here for two months with most of my furniture not here. there are NO spots for guest parking and they tow anyone who parks on the curb for even a second. my guest was with me for less than an hour, did not park on any red curb, and got towed and forced to pay $250. axis is a joke. don't live here

Management is my favorite part of living here. They are very friendly and attentive to their residents. They do what they can, given the parking circumstances and furniture, but I believe they handle it all very well. The amenities are impeccable, and I see maintenance taking care of them daily. I would 10/10 recommend living here, you just need to be patient and understanding with the staff because they are doing the best they can with what they can.

If I could advise myself last year to not move here I would. This place has been a pain since the minute I moved here. First- I moved in during july and didn't get my couches until September! Second- When parking was enforced, I was parked in my assigned spot and got booted; which I had to pay to get the boot off. The staff was rude and in particular, Charity at the front desk was dismissive and acted above me with little to no sign they wanted to actually help.
