Biggest issue is the constant noise which takes it down to 1 star. Do not get an apartment below someone else, you can hear everything, all day and night. Foot steps, stomping, dropping, slamming, running, and you can even tell when someone uses a cleaning appliance. There will be a loud drumming and thumping, because the ceiling/floor is so thin and built from sound aggravating material. One other person at the complex explained it well as he had the same issue with a kid living above him, "the floor is built like the head of a drum." They need to seriously reduce the prices for units below others

Although we have only lived here a few weeks, we have been very pleased with our choice to call Carmel Center apartments our home. Through the beginning process of finding the perfect floor plan, up until now, the leasing office has taken great care of us. We had a few things in need of minor repair when we moved in and within days they were all taken care of. We really appreciate the promptness and genuine care from the leasing team at Carmel Center.

This has honestly been good experience. Just because this is 5 stars doesn't mean there aren't any negatives, the positive just far outweighs it. Location: A walk away from a Japanese style koi pond and a walk away from Midtown, both via Monon trail access.
Parking: Never a problem
The rooms look great, but if you want privacy, you may want to do your own sound proofing. Please do not do jumping exercises inside. Most of the time neighbors are extremely respectful and mindful. I can't believe that one person left a one star just for this.

We lived at Carmel Center for a year, before life relocated us out of state... we loved the community, events, the reflecting pond and park, which we miss.
Crystal in the office is a gem, she was so friendly and helpful throughout our time there.
We loved the huge apartment size, and amenities in it (used the wine fridge for sodas since we don't drink).... my only issues were noise and cheap construction, we could hear the downstairs neighbors dog at all hours, and we could hear the upstairs neighbors doing who knows what.... also I am almost certain we had minor mold growing on the ceiling in

I've lived here for 4 months and have continued to be impressed by the community and the staff. I recently had a small roof leak after a day of heavy rain and was impressed by how well the staff responded to the issue - especially as it popped up less than an hour before a long holiday weekend. The maintenance team was at my unit within minutes to inspect the leak - and even offered to help move some furniture in the affected area. They worked with roofers and painters, both of whom came quickly over the following days and were extremely professional and thorough. A leak is never fun, but its the

I’ve been wanting to leave this review since the beginning of my contract... but well it’s better now than never.
The apartment is perfect...size, maintenance, appliances, water pressure, lighting everything is great!
The community is so welcoming, the complex organizes events (movies, dinners, parties) every once in a while and you get to know a bunch of incredible people!
The maintenance is right on top! They cover all your needs so you don’t need to worry about anything.
The complex has a great location (this was the winner point for me at the beginning), the clubhouse with the Starbucks

My wife and I moved here from Chicagoland last August. From the first time we walked into the office we were treated like family. We didn't know the are so we looked at nearly 30 apartment complexes in 3 days. We chose Carmel Center for 1) Beacon Hill floor plan 2) Location to everything in Carmel 3) Staff is truly amazing 4) Residents are very friendly. Having been here for almost a year, we made a great choice. There are social events constantly - Wine, Sushi, cookouts, movie nights, food trucks (coffee trucks), pool parties. They do not spare expenses to treat the residents to all kinds of awesome

My husband and I absolutely love living here! We have a one bedroom that is very updated with nice appliances. It even has a fireplace, too. :) We've lived here for 2 years and have always experienced GREAT customer service and the staff is always so helpful and friendly. Whenever we put in a maintenance request, it's fixed within 1 or 2 days. Not to mention, this apartment complex is in the perfect location with lots of places around to walk to! 10/10 would recommend living here!
