In searching for my first apartment, I came across Governor Square. Emily was the person who helped me from the beginning, and she has been so pleasant to work with. I’ve asked A LOT of questions, and she has been patient in answering them while still being thorough. Emily sent images of the unit I was interested in and arranged for me to go to the property and meet Chloe for a tour. Even as circumstances changed between applying for the apartment and signing the lease, she continue to be kind and helpful, which was so appreciated! I have felt informed this entire time about application fees

The five stars is specifically for the maintenence supervisor Moses. Before he came our work orders were falling through the cracks. Which was understandable due to staffing issues, but Moses made it his priority to get our little community back to par. I could see him while I'm walking with the kids or pulling up and tell him my maintenance concerns, and he would make things happen within 24 hrs. He is very well appreciated in our neighborhood.

Every thing is really bad and old. First gas leak happened from the air conditioner but thanks god we were outside. This is will kill us if we were there. When we came in the morning and opened the door the smell was incredible. Second mouse came from the connection of the dryer. When my daughter saw that she can’t stay at home. Because of that I moved two month early. My lease will be end 11/30/2021 I moved 10/01/2021. I paid the rent for both months without living over there. And I’m still receiving water bills can u imagine. My lease start on 03/01/2021 only seven months I stayed there.

This property is definitely one of the most affordable in Carmel. Great square footage, lots of character (built in shelving in the family room and a fire place make this better than your standard cookie cutter apartment). I have a dog so the huge fenced in yard I have makes life a little easier for me and my pup and truly makes this feel more like a home than an apartment where you’re crammed on top of your neighbors. Parking is plentiful, there is tons of storage and closet space, and the fact that I don’t have to deal with snow, yard work, or maintenance just sweetens the deal. Chloe and

I have been living here at Governor Square for a little under a year. The apartments are a great value for their size and the grounds are maintained well. The maintenance staff is phenomenal and responds and follows up promptly. Whenever I have needed something the gals in the office are always cheerful and pleasant to work with. The area is quiet and has a great family feel. I highly recommend making Governor Square your next home! 🙂

I would highly, highly advise anyone considering this complex to look elsewhere than Governor Square. To sum things up, we learned upon move in from our across the hall neighbors that the previous tenants had moved out due to significant and persistent water problems in the unit, something that was not made known to us by the property managers. Sure enough, in the eleven months my family lived there, we had nothing but major water problems, the last of which resulted in mold growing from the walls in our bedroom closet. Add on our air conditioning not working during the summer, nothing but warm

I love living here! It's really quiet, all the floor plans are huge, and the renovations are absolutely gorgeous. The new property manager has really turned this place around. Chloe and Emily at the office are so helpful! I live in a 3 bedroom ranch style renovated apartment, and it feels like I'm in a house. This community has really made a complete turnaround within the last year. I love the clubhouse renovations, as well as the grills and new dog park. Keep up the good work!

Emily in the office was fantastic during our search. We leased sight unseen, but I felt comfortable as she took the time to FaceTime me and walk me through all of our options and the amenities. When we arrived I was very pleased. The apartment was all up to date and was pleasantly surprised with the size of the apartment.
The grounds are well maintained and the amenities are all up to date and clean. My dogs enjoy the dog park and lots of areas on the grounds to walk them.
