Vineyards Report

Karmere's sixty-seven acres of estate grown vines are grown in the rich Sierra Nevada decomposed granite soils of Amador county, on gentle slopes of 1300 feet to 1600 feet elevation. The combination of well managed vines and well drained hillsides restricts vigor producing two to four tons of grapes per acre.

I have been going here with my sister for years and thier wines are always spectacular. I'm not a big Zinfandel fan but theirs is the best.

Vino Noceto was my favorite in Amador but Karmere just took that spot. Thank you Boomer for giving us a great experience and attention on a very, very busy day. And we loved the wines, too.

Karmere has it all! The best views, great wines and amazing staff that are accommodating and goes through the best tasting experience. The sparkling wines are delicious and the Zins amazing! Love the Haley Zin!

Everyone I bring here loves this place! Super hospitable staff and tasty wines! Also the grounds are beautiful making for quite the nice outing. I highly recommend ordering the Peach sparkling wine as I haven't seen it offered anywhere else and it's one of our favorites!

Had the best time here! Really appreciated the complimentary tasting model. When you have the chance to go into a business and sample some product and talk with people involved in the production it really invests you and makes you want to support them. We were excited to come home with two bottles— one of which was my favorite, the fantastic almond sparkling wine!

This place has friendly cats, a great (well- knowledgeable staff and a fantastic almond sparking wine! There is a man who poured for us by the name 'Cupcake' he is a magnificent fellow with very entertaining stories. Come for the wine, stay for the Cupcake!
