What wine do you serve with turkey? Grenache but of course! As a Holiday Gift we're offering a 3 pack of our fabulous 2017 Grenache, enough to enjoy with left overs. This 3-pack retails for $72, but for November it's $65, and for our wine club members the price is only $50. Wine Tree Farm, is an Amador County winery which specializes in 3 Rhone varietals - Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre - and Rhone Blends.
Wine Tree Farm, in Amador County gets its power from the Sun. Except for a generator that we have to start up when mother nature is in a dour cloudy mood. Corinne's son Nic was an electrician by trade and was confident he could set up the solar installation. Sure enough, now when the SUN shines on Wine Tree Farm, SHE grows the grapes, and powers the winery.

Services
Corinne chose to plant Rhone varietal grapes in her vineyard. That's because the climate and soils in the area are similar to that of the Rhone region in France, where Syrah, Grenache and Mourvedre are the predominant red wines. And equally important, Corinne likes Rhone reds. Check out Corinne's Guide to Rhone Wines for more details.
Visit our Amador County Tasting Room, where you can taste our variety of Rhone wines and blends. We bottle and release new wines throughout the year. If you visited before you may very well discover some more recent wines. All our wines - Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre and our blends - SyrGreMour, GreSyrMour, ByPass Red, Off The Grid, Otis and Gremour - have all received medals from time to time.
In many fields, music and art as examples, numerous people have a natural talent. Wine Blending is similarly a talent. Mixing specific amounts of different wines produces blends with interesting nuances and tastes. In the class, you'll taste one of our popular blends, while Corinne shares some blending and wine-making experiences.
Wine Tree Farm's Tasting Room is located in Amador County on Highway 49 just North of Amador City, about 30 miles South East of Sacramento in the Sierra Foothills. Her are directions to Wine Tree Farm. Would you rather hire a designated driver: allowing you and your guests to spend a relaxing time, chatting, seeing the scenery and enjoying wine tasting and stopping at interesting locations or where ever you chose?
The same bright sunshine, that blesses this part of California and produces our lush wine grapes, also powers our "Off-the-Grid" Winery. Like many of you, we realize that we are the stewards of our environment. If future generations are going to enjoy the beauty of the wonderful Sierra Foothills region, we must practice sustainable viticulture and adopt renewable energy sources.

Driving by you might miss it. If you missed it stop, turn around and go back. Yes it's the metal shed looking building. Yes the view over the vineyards is incredible. Yes go in and meet Corrine. Laid back is a great way to describe the tastings. The wines are really wonderful. I highly recommend the Syrah. Also Corrine's South African accent is delightful. Try this vineyard you won't regret it.

Came here treating my girlfriend's family out to a wine mixing class (Groupon deal alert!) and we had a blast. Corinne and her dogs are super friendly. She starts by telling you her whole story and describes her path into the wine industry - so cool! She then guides us through the theory and reasoning behind mixing and lets us make as many concoctions as we'd like - there was no shortage of wine to say the least and we had more than enough fun mixing. We didn't feel rushed at all and each found our ideal mix. Before leaving, she not only lets you try and buy some of her mixes but

I can't believe I haven't written a review for Wine Tree Farms yet. My wife and I happened upon this gem last year while driving around. When you first drive up some might thing that no one is home. But trust me, please go ahead and go inside, you will not be disappointed.
Wine Tree Farms is owned and operated by Corrine and her son. They are both wonderful people and are very knowledgeable about wines. The neatest thing about this winery is that they are 100% solar, off the grid. Corrine doesn't do the typical Zinfandels that you will find all over this valley, but instead

Stayed here as part of the Harvest Host Program. Was greeted by Corinne and her dogs Timba and Molly (didn't get the cat's name). Went straight to tasting after parking the RV. Loved that her wines are "off the grid". There were several to taste and all were good. Corinne is very personable and love that South African accent. Truly had more fun when the two sisters came in to taste! Son Nick came to help Mom close up, so it was time to go. Left with bottles of wine to enjoy on our adventure! Definitely will be back if we are ever in the area again!! #macdalife

We attended one of Corinne's wine blending classes and had a great time. Tasted the three main Rhone varietals, Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre, then set out to create the best blend using different amounts of each wine. Corinne is very knowledgeable and fun. And the best part is you get to go home with a bottle of your very own blend, with hand made label. Highly recommended!

This place is a treasure, off the beaten path, and where you should stock up on all their wines before they become wildly famous and you can't afford them anymore.
Our friends took us here after an afternoon of wine tasting. Corinne, the owner, was willing to stay open late and do a tasting with our small group--something you never get from a commercialized winery. That's real customer service and passion for your wines! This winery is 100% off the grid, so definitely nothing fancy or posh about the tasting room. Personally, this is one of the many reasons we so loved this place. It

This was the first winery I hit while in Amador County and I'm so glad I did! Corrine is a delight and her wine is excellent. Her dogs are super sweet, as well. And her winery is completely off the grid. I really enjoyed chatting with her and was so impressed with her wine, I bought 6 bottles - the most of any winery I visited. I hope to come back next time I'm in Amador.

Corrine Moore is a lovely lady who knows how to make great wines. We were club members but moved from the Bay Area to Gardnerville, NV and have been busy with the move so let our membership slip. But once we are comfortably moved in, will once again join Corrine's wine club. She has great release parties for members.

I love the wine I had here! and I love the business motto about being green! I wish they had more seating or something where you could sort of hang out but great wine. Seems like a hole in the wine vineyard but DO NOT be fooled! Make the quick stop learn some stuff and buy a few bottles this place is worth the stop!

Really personable, small, and cozy. Corinne is very knowledgeable and her journey to opening a winery is impressive. Because she worked hard and taught herself a lot of things, learning from her has a whole different feel. The wine is great as well, easy to drink. I love the the fortified dessert wine too!

Wine without attitude (period). How often do you get to know the owner by name? If Corinne (owner & wine tasting host) isn't a sommelier, then she is the most knowledgeable (and willing) host I have ever experienced (thank you for sharing your knowledge).
I have been a wine member for almost two years, and she has never hesitated to reply to my emails when I needed a pairing suggestion to go with her delicious wines (nice).
Again, a laid back, and educational experience I venture to say, you will not get anywhere else.

First off, the wines are all delicious. They are perfect medium bodies reds that are one of a kind in this area. I have not found any Syrah or Grenache that I like better anywhere in the world and the blends are also amazing.
Corrine is very welcoming and really pulls the whole wine tasting experience together. I have been a club member since taking the wine blending class and always look forward to the semi-annual pickups. In addition, I reached out to Corrine last month to help me with a proposal plan by making me a custom wine bottle label that popped the question. She was more than willing

Wonderful wines. I loved the blends.
My stop at this delightful winery made for a wonderful day. i have been a few times over the last few years and it is amazing to see the transformation. Corinne and Nick are both quite accomplished winemakers - and recently I heard that Corinne is teaching blending.
Make the time and stop to try this wine.

Wine Tree Farm is the only completely solar-powered winery in California. Not only that, they make some excellent wines. They feature red wine varietals made from grapes originally grown in the Rhone River valley of southern France: Grenache, Mourvedre, and Syrah, as well as blends from all three varietals. The wines are well made, nicely balanced, not over-tannin, and extremely reasonably priced, being in the $15-$25 price range.
The tasting room is usually manned by the owner and winemaker herself, Corinne Moore, originally from South Africa, or by her son Nick. They are extremely friendly
