Dr. Owings and staff are awesome! They have a cool website and a pet forum where you can ask questions and get advice. My dogs (boxers) are always having issues and I count on Kibby Park to keep them healthy and happy. We have used Kibby Park since our dog was a puppy in 2000. I love the fact that I never have to wait in the waiting room.
Clicker training is a way to bridge the gap of communication with our dogs. We use a click to let the dogs know what they did was correct (we mark their behavior). Every click is followed by a treat, but it is the click that gives the dog information. No punishment is used, if the dog doesn't get it right, he doesn't earn a click (or a treat).

Unfortunately, they were not taking on any new patients. My cat was old & very sick & they would not help me with my cat. However, the guy who answered my call was very kind & did try to help guide me where I might be able to go to get help & he explained what was going on in the Veterinarian industry at this time. It just really sucks we as fur parents can't just go to the vet to get our fur babies the help they need!

I've always had such a great experience here- I have dealt with both Dr. Halsey and Dr. Traverse and their care for my rabbits was amazing! They are both extremely knowledgeable and always offer the best advice.. People that work at Kibby know just how naughty my little baby Luella has been, but they have always done the absolute best to help me out! The assistants and technicians are always super excited to see my bunnies, and the receptionists are always very helpful! Finding a great rabbit vet is very hard, but Kibby is great!!!! :)

This email is in reference to my overall experience at Kibby Park Animal Hospital. I felt this message was necessary for me to share with you as my experience there was very uncomfortable to say the least.
I have a German Shepherd female whom is now 9 months old. Initially, when I brought her in to your establishment as a puppy of only a few months old, she hadn't been socialized much and this was due to my household preventatively quarantining due to the pandemic. As such, during our visit my puppy was labeled as "fearful" and "nervous" due to her natural "protectiveness

Kibby Park Animal Hospital has taken care of our pets for the last 20 years. They have helped us manage epilepsy in our first dog. At one point I was totally devastated when our cat would not eat or drink, Kibby Park provided exceptional care to him to get him back on his feet. Also they had the knowledge and expertise to save us from a costly exploratory surgery. I just wanted to say thank you to the staff at Kibby Park Animal Hospital. Your staff's compassion to our senior dog, Pepper, and my family really meant the world to us during the difficult time of making the decision for her to be humanely euthanized. You allowed us to be there with her to provide her comfort during her final moments and gave our family privacy because we were all in tears. I know in my heart it was the most humane thing for her.
