Talked to a guy named Mark after I sent an inquiry about an apartment.
He was so rude and very condescending. He has no patience for my questions.
I couldn’t wait to get off the phone with him.
Certainty not someone I want to do business with.
This is not my first time around the block! I think a real estate agent should kind, helpful and patient. Especially when you are looking to buy an apartment in this city.
Zero stars for Mark and City Realty. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Critical: Quality, Responsiveness
Called to be connected with a realtor. Had specific apartments in mind that were listed on their site. Said I needed to move ASAP. Was told by receptionist I would hear back within 24 hours. 3 weeks later after my initial call AND a follow-up call and NOTHING. I never heard back from anyone. Terrible service.

Really valuable information that I receive in my inbox on a daily basis. Moved to nyc in 2011 and after trying to find a place on my own, I just gave up and went with finding a broker to help me. CityRealty was the best one I've managed to find. Some sites I found cuz they were national, but CityRealty seems like it just caters to nyc so much more detailed. The broker I connected with knows the local areas well and helped me find an 'affordable new york' place. I love how the site gives you neighbourhood info and celebrities history even if I can never afford to live in an ex-celebrity house.

I was on a mad dash trying to find a place twice for reasons that are not important to you right now, dear reader. But, I must tell you, I tried Craigslist, Ouija boards, classifieds, friends of friends, exorcism and nothing, absolutely nothing. I don't have to tell you that finding a place in New York is hell. Not even Hell's Kitchen, might I add. However, I found CityRealty's website and man oh man, that changed the course of my personal history!
The listings I was shown were actual apartments and not a pit I'd be fed by my captor. You know what I'm talking about. Great
