Feel Good Bakery
Our talented, friendly staff are dedicated to crafting delicious breads and pastries and helping our customers find just what they're looking for. When Rick Kellner settled in the Bay Area he noticed that despite its many excellent bakeries, none offered small-batch, hand-crafted, European-style breads.

So he started baking in his tiny San Francisco apartment, supplying local shops and restaurants with something they couldn't get anywhere else. We bake with organic, non-GMO, locally sourced ingredients of the highest quality. Flours, nuts, fruits and cheeses come from local vendors who share similar beliefs around quality.

High price for Alameda when Whole Foods desserts are tops. Breads, cookies are super. The sandwiches started out to be good for a price of $7.00 but you get little in the sandwich with tons of lettuce. This is a big disappointment sandwich wise.

The baked goods here are great, it's the holiday ordering that sucks. I called to order Christmas cookies, I'm told it's too early and they are not taking orders. So as it is a week away from Christmas and I call and the phone is busy. Then the one time they pick up and put me on hold , after waiting a long time I get disconnected. So the next morning I go in there in person to order, all orders are closed. I ask if I can purchase some Christmas cookies, they are not ready. Can I pay now and pick them up? No. So I call back around 3 and they are sold out but refuse to take my money

So I'm like always on the lookout for a new bakery/pastry place, and this place meets my top two must haves - great/crusty bread & a good selection of cookies. Their cheese sticks are delicious, the Epi cranberry and pumpkin seed sourdough bread is also great. I look forward to trying many more goodies.

Terribly ashamed of the cake we got here for our child's first birthday celebration. Have had good experience getting their baked goods previously but this is terrible considering how the bottom layer of the cake is missing parts when we took it out of the box from the store. How can you sell such a cake? How could you allow this when it was for a birthday party and especially for a momentous first birthday?

Guest who were there to celebrate with us even commented asking if the cake was homemade because of the bottom layer issue and we just had to frankly share that this was from the bakery

Really delicious treats! The macarons are so good -- I can't come to the Marketplace without stopping by Feel Good and grabbing some. They are a bit pricey though. Some other great treats are their cinnamon rolls and cupcakes. The scones are a bit dry, so possibly skip those.

They have gluten free options! Yay!
Stopped by to try their other non gluten items and saw that they listed out their gluten free desserts. They also have a gluten free sourdough loaf... hopefully it tastes good so we can have this on rotation.
Not for celiacs since there is the chance for cross contamination. They're located inside a cute natural foods type grocery that has other small food stalls and a butcher/cheesemonger/wine spot. Masks are currently required inside the marketplace. They also have Apple Pay.

Fantastic desserts tucked inside a marketplace. The staff was helpful, patient, and answered questions about their desserts. Everyone loved their chocolate flourless cake. They wrote happy birthday on an item.

This is a fantastic bakery. I love their breads and rolls. They make a large rolls and I love their large rolls that is made up or a dozen small individual "rollettes".
Fresh daily, warmed, they are delicious.

They used to come to the Pleasanton Market on Saturday from 9-1. However they no longer come. Very confusing that they do not come. The last time that I saw them at Pleasanton, there was a line of 24 people.

Hopefully they will come back.

Both the eclair and chocolate mousse were delicious! I wanted a slice of chocolate cake but they were fresh out as I went right before they were closing.

I tried this bakery when it had a stand at the Pleasanton Farmer's Market - there was a super long line, but the wait was worth it! They had a variety of freshly baked bread loafs and pastry items. I tried the Zoe bun, cinnamon bun, and bancho muffin. The Zoe bun was really soft and looked so delicious - it was a croissant pastry with cinnamon sugar. The dough was hard on the outside but soft on the inside with a nice buttery taste, and the cinnamon sugar gave it a light sweetness. The bancho muffin was soft and tasted very similar to banana bread with chocolate chips (bancho = banana chocolate

This past weekend, I ordered a chocolate cake from this bakery. I've read many good reviews about this place so I was very excited to try. Unfortunately I was heavily disappointment by the cake and customer service.

First, I had made an order request online. I was then notified by email that an individual will call me to confirm the order - this never happened. So I called them to place my order. I had ordered exactly as I had from their website: chocolate cake, chocolate buttercream filling, with chocolate ganache for a smooth finish. This order was confirmed on the phone.

The staff present the day I came was very nice to me as I was still deciding on what to get. The worker explained the cakes' flavors and I was able to choose the cake that I wanted. For customer service, they got high marks. As food the cake and the macarons, they were good but not amazing.

The macarons were great. I wished that all of their macarons were in good shape because I've noticed that they sold and placed the cracked macarons on display. I understand they don't want to waste any of the cookies but, I believe for macarons, presentation is one of the factors that allows

Feel Good Bakery is one of my friend's favorite bakery, and the parking is plentiful.

I came here during covid on a Saturday when there was a short line outside.
The line moved rather quickly, plus there was someone to help regulate the line and give us some sanitizer when going inside.

I wanted to stop by to grab a quick cupcake to treat myself. I ended up getting a Chocolate Gauche Chocolate Cupcake, which is what they said was the most popular one, for $4.25. The cupcake was moist and chocolately on the inside, which satisfied me, but the top part, the frosting, easily fell off the cupcake

For my son's birthday, his latest GF brought over a Decadent Double Chocolate Cake.

I'm not really a butter creme fan, but it was smooth and delicious with the moist chocolate cake. Not too sweet or sugary. It was beautiful, until I sliced it up, so no photo.

So good, I'm having seconds. With the pandemic stay at home order and the Holidays, nutrition resets are impossible!

We were in Alameda for my husband's birthday and I needed a cake or dessert for him. My good friend who lives here recommended this place. It is inside a market but has a large selection of desserts. They had pie by the slice, cake slices, small tarts/cupcakes, cookies, etc.

My husband chose their carrot cake with cream cheese buttercream frosting. My friend chose a slice of pumpkin pie. The carrot cake was full of spice flavor and not too sweet. The cream cheese frosting also was slightly tangy but not sweet the way frosting usually is.

Our only recommendation is to add more of the frosting
