Can't say enough about Eva and the products she creates at Full Belly. LOVE her Signature Cakes to the moon! Have had both the Lemon/Blueberry and Carmel/Mocha Signature Cakes. Not only are they delicious, but they are so beautiful. Ordering online is so easy and pick-up was perfect and on schedule. Can't wait to order another cake for a special occasion.

Eva/Full Belly Bakery and the cupcakes/wedding cake we ordered for our special day were stunning. Eva was super helpful and took my direction well, we wanted a few flavors of cupcakes and to be color themed. Although not seeing the final design until our wedding day, we talked about ideas and direction and couldn't have been more pleased with how they turned out, which exceeded my expectations. She knew exactly what I was going for, and would definitely recommend the Bakery and use them again in my next big event!

Today, I picked up my Mother's Day special lemon blackberry tart from Eva at Full Belly Bakery. The tart is nothing less than spectacular, and the quality is something one would find at a fancy French bakery. I can taste the berry and the lemon flavors distinctly and yet they make a beautiful harmony without overshadowing each other. The berries on top are pretty, very fresh and sweet! The short bread crust is flaky and buttery. I want to devour it!

Sorry that I am going to give a review which is different from the other praises of this estalbishment. I ordered a cake and it totally did not live up the minimal standard. To start, the cake itself was not moisted at all, then the buttercream also seem quite dry. To me, this is a cake made at least a few days ahead of time. We ate some on the day we picked up, but the next day, it got so bad that I ended up tossing it in the trash. Waste of money.
I might have higher standard, but other compares this establishment to Kartina Roselle (which I loved for over 10 years), if Katrina is a 10

OMG!!! The Pecan Caramel Carrot Cake was delivered to my house for my birthday; and it is now my GO-TO spot for carrot cake. The cake itself was dense, not too sweet, and with the perfect blend of spices. The spices were not overwhelming. The icing and caramel, however, was SWEEEET of course, but it went well with the cake. The pecans added happy little crunches in my mouth. You guys have to try it with vanilla ice cream. YummmO!

My Mom (who lives out of state) surprised me for my Bday with a cake from Full Belly Bakery. She said they were really easy to order from and very attentive to her needs ( even sending her an email asking about any special requirements or allergies).
The cake itself was really great and the flowers on the top were a wonderful touch. The icing was creamy and the cake was moist but not too moist. The delivery person was great and wore a mask. Thanks for making my day!

After a wonderful experience ordering from Full Belly Bakery back in April, I ordered from their website once again for a family member's birthday. The website is extremely user friendly, has beautiful cakes, and everyone is so attentive. The cake was on time, looked absolutely gorgeous, and was delicious! Though they have a flavor for every taste, this is a must for chocolate lovers. Overall, 10/10 would recommend this bakery and rest assured I will be ordering goodies from them every chance I get. The flavors are fresh and we loved this combination of the fresh blueberries with lemon. I wanted to order a birthday cake for my best friend, Manisha, during this quarantine period so I gave Eva a call. She was super helpful and kind as I contemplated which cake flavor and design to order. We settled on a marble raspberry cake after she showed me a picture of what it would look like and what it would consist of (chocolate and vanilla swirl with raspberry filling and chocolate Swiss meringue buttercream). Eva made the ordering process super easy. She called, we went back and forth with what I wanted, done. My Dad's 66th born day called for double chocolate cake and vanilla cupcakes. Thankfully during the pandemic they deliver. Dropped off Saturday and enjoyed Sunday.
The cake wasn't very chocolatey, which was fine for a non-chocoholic like myself, but Dad wanted more. Also the frosting on both was very oily tasting. The design was just okay. What an absolute treat! Despite being on lockdown, we still wanted to do something nice for my wife's birthday, and Full Belly did the trick.
Eva was great, we just mentioned coconut cake and she ran with it. We ended up receiving a beautiful and delicious cake, delivered, with great professionalism and social distancing.

During the pandemic and stay home orders , no one is enjoying their birthday . So I decided to give my friend a surprise on her birthday. Full Belly Bakery was able to help during this pandemic. I was able to call and Eva recommended me with their famous Lemon Blueberry cake , not to mention , it was also free delivery ! The process was quick and easy . I told her my needs and concerns over the phone , she was able send me the invoice via email with payment . Response was quick turnaround . She is the go to bakery if u need anything !

Amazing cakes!!! We got these last minute for a birthday and they are adorable. The cake is very moist and rich, and not too sweet. I tried Berry lemon which was very good. Delivery fee is reasonable (especially since it's hard to park where we are in Oakland). Very patient and nice helping us to figure out how much cake we needed and cheerful when delivering. Love supporting a female, black-owned bakery and will be ordering again!
