I have lived at the Birches for just a few months and overall I have had a great experience. It was easy to move - even during the covid19 pandemic and management did a great job of staying safe and following local regulations. The rent is a good price for being so close to downtown Silver Spring and not far from DC & the metro. Some people may be weary of the white oak area but it is really fine, just diverse and residents are all busy working people like me.

I’ll be honest. This wasn’t the least expensive apartment nor did it have the best rent special, but they don’t have to because Ellie and Jessica are the closing deal. After searching for months for a place that had a washer and dryer, clean grounds, was pest free, and where I would feel safe, The Birches finally met all my needs. The 1-bedroom apartment is smaller than others, but perfect for 1-2 people . I really love the extra storage closet that sits on the balcony. It’s a great place to store your out of season clothing until the next season! And it’s super quiet here. I definitely

I currently live at the complex and I have to say this is buy far the best complex I have lived in! Jessica is amazing and so is Ms. Ellie as well as the maintenance dept. are very helpful and fast to fix any issue. As long as your upfront and honest with them and talk with the staff they will make sure you and your family are fine.

I wish I could leave 0 stars. This place is a hole. First of all, the residents think they are living in the hood and play music loudly at all hours of the night. They have no respect for their neighbors. At least 5 of the neighbors blasted their music and TV or yelled outside at night. Therefore, it's not an isolated incident of one neighbor being loud. People slam their doors, which has woken me up in the middle of the night. People smoke weed and don't even try to hide it. I've lived in many apartments and I've never encountered such disrespect for the simple courtesies that come with sharing
