SAM Z. GROSS co-owner of Silver Property Group, started his real estate career almost thirty years ago. He is a licensed Illinois Managing Broker and a member of the Chicago Association of Realtors, Illinois Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors. Sam is active with the Edgewater Uptown Builders Association as well.

Landlord doesn’t care to fix broken washer and drier burning hundreds of dollars on new clothes and bedding, doesn’t care about mail theft (rampant here) or trash piling up in our halls. Totally unimpressed

As a tenant for the last 4 years my experience here has been positive. Our property manager Miron has been nothing but professional, courteous and accommodating. He is very responsive and prompt about taking care of any issue and that really is priceless during these stressful times.

I have been in a silver property building since Aug 5 2021. I seem to enter a maintenance request 1-2 times a month. Day 3 of me moving in, I went to use the washroom in the middle of the night and saw roaches everywhere in the bathroom. I did not have any roaches in my previous condo that I sold before moving to this unit/building. I couldn't hang my clothes in the closets for weeks because there were no rods. No one cleaned the lobby for 2.5 months and didn't clean it until I made a complaint, the radiators make a very loud noise when heat is on and now, the heat has not turned on

I have had multiple packages stolen from my building, along with other tenants. I contacted the property manager multiple times with this information, and am constantly brushed off and dismissed. I have even filed a police report but to no avail. Silver Property has made it clear that they are not responsible for packages being stolen within their own buildings, and no do care about the tenants wellbeing.

I've been with Silver Property for almost 5 years now! Moved to 3 different locations and they made the transition very stress free and smooth. It has definitely improved much more since Miron became the property manager during the time I've lived with Silver Property. He is very responsive with any request we need and ensures any issues we have gets resolved.

Today was my last day as a tenant at one of the properties managed by Silver Property Group. My experience with them has been amazing especially Alice and Miron. They really care about the renters, I can attest to that as I have experienced it first hand. We've lived in 2 separate units over the course of 3.5 years in the same building and there's a reason why we've stuck with this management company. The property manager is professional and responsive and maintenance is efficient and very friendly. Every request has been handled promptly and efficiently. For example, we had a clog in our toilet occur over a holiday weekend and they had it fixed in under an hour. The value is great, the units are updated and safe. I would highly recommend this property group.

I have been a tenant for 2 years and will be continuing on with a different SPG apartment (moving out of a 4BR into a 2BR). For the most part, things have been very good. Fairly responsive to maintenance issues (really good for critical things), and they've been very accommodating with my move into a different apartment they manage.

Silver is always very responsive to maintenance requests. We've dealt with plumbing issues, water damage, and pest control and our requests are always taken very seriously and followed up on quickly. We appreciate the regular scheduled pest control to prevent pest problems as well. Sidewalks are always salted and shoveled early in the morning. We've lived in their uptown apartments for two years- hoping to resign for next year.

This was our second year resigning the lease with Silver Properties and it will be our last. Never really had any major complaints until yesterday when they sent a maintenance technician into our unit to check for leaks around our toilet as their water bill was too high and that constitutes an emergency apparently. I had been at work all day and thought they had already completed the inspection by the time I got home but at 7:30pm there was a knock on the front door from the technician. A little late for maintenance to be in my apartment and I was already in my pajamas but whatever I was accommodating

We recently moved into our 2 bedroom apartment in Albany Park. So far things have been wonderful! We looked at a lot of apartments through a lot of different companies, but this was very easy and things fell into place quickly! From the start, our leasing agent Scott was super responsive, flexible and easy to work with. Once we saw the place and fell in love with it, the process was very quick and seamless. We had our lease signed within 24 hours of seeing the apartment which was a relief after getting the run-around from another leasing company about another property.

1 year down, another year to go! After living in El Howard with Silver Property Group, I can say that this will be a home that I will always remember. Silver Property Group made the application process easy and streamlined. When I first moved in, I wanted some cleaning done, and they took care of it before I got my furniture in place. There was a time when the heating wouldn't work or the dishwasher, and maintenance was there within 24 hours. It may not be the Ritz, but Silver has made it home. Things I would like to improve are the fire alarm that keeps beeping throughout the whole year

Silver Property Group has been great. They showed me the listing very shortly after I had inquired about it, talked me through the application process and fees. The gentleman who showed me the apartment was maybe 15 minutes late to the showing and took all credit and waived one of the fees on the application. I did not see that coming but I appreciated the gesture!! Application went through very quickly and we were ready to sign the lease in no time. Due to my leasing date being around the holidays, they were very flexible in the lease start date and were ready to give me the keys days prior to

At your 6601 N. Campbell property there is a pile of garbage sitting on the front lawn for almost 2 weeks. I notified you a week ago with no results. Not a good first impression for a prospective tenant
I received an e mail today from this company explaining why the garbage was on the lawn. A tenant was evicted and by law they had to leave his possessions on property for a week. Makes sense now
