Great management love the apartment! The manager and assistant manager (Gisela and Maricela) are super sweet and very nice. Any problems you have they resolve quickly and efficiently. Maintenance is 7 days a week and the facility is incredibly clean ( literally bleach the elevators and floors and walkways almost daily!) Ignore the negative reviews honestly I never wrote reviews but once I saw how inaccurate some of Plaza’s reviews were are I had to write one! This is definitely the only place in Westwood I would ever want to live in.

Our daughter and her roomate have really enjoyed their time at The Plaza Apartments. They moved in, September 2020 and are in a 2 bedroom/2 bath with a gas fireplace and small balcony facing the street. It's much nicer than any dorm they would have lived in (had it not been for covid). Every girl was able to fit a small desk and chair in their rooms. The kitchen and bathrooms have modern features in them. The apt came furnished and the neighbors have been quiet and respectful. This has been a safe and secure place for our freshman daughter.

Currently an undergraduate student sharing a 2B2B with 2 other people. I can't speak for others but I think living at the Plaza, especially during COVID, has been one of the better decisions I made in 2021. I appreciate that the staff, particularly Jennifer and Giselle, have been quite kind and transparent about the whole process of getting an apartment, from the leasing agreement to moving in and being a resident. It was my first time living in off campus housing and I've heard so many horror stories about Westwood landlords that I was nervous at the beginning. To that end, the Plaza has really

The Plaza is a wonderful apartment complex, perfect for a UCLA student. It is a 15 minute walk to campus and is right next to the UCLA bus shuttle stop. The complex is always spotless and has a great study room, gym, and rooftop jacuzzi. Jennifer, who works in the leasing office, is extremely kind and is always willing to go out of her way to help us whenever we come across minor problems. The building management is also very good about work orders. I file a work order and a few hours later, I get an email from Jennifer saying that the job is already done! Gisela, the building manager, is also

Probably the worst place I have lived. We had pests and that issue never got resolved. The front desk lady Gisela is incredibly rude and unwelcoming and unhelpful. And finally, 3 months after our move out date they tried to get additional money from us, racking up charges out of no where and saying that we owed them money for rent when we already paid. They take advantage of college students and it was especially discouraging during covid time, where many leasing offices go out of their way to accommodate their tenants. Don't move here.

Only rent from The Plaza if you have no other option.
When we first went to see the apartments, we were greeted by a kind and friendly young lady named Ruby. She showed us around a model apartment and mentioned that it was not identical to the apartment that we would be renting. The apartment she showed us had been renovated extensively and looked great. Upon moving in, we found that the apartment leased to us was barely renovated and looked nothing like the model unit. We were not warned that our apartment would be significantly lower in quality compared to the

UPDATE 3 YEARS LATER: I have photos of the apartment the day we moved out and it was immaculate. We even ordered a maid to clean it before we left. This place is still the most disgusting place I've ever lived (this includes the rude staff) and the management should be sued for not keeping the place in livable conditions (which is their legal obligation). I feel bad for anyone who was duped into signing a lease here

This is a lovely apartment in the Westwood area and is conveniently located. The apartment is clean and modern. It is close to everything, UCLA bus, grocery stores, restaurants, Ralphs, Trader Joes and more! Parking has never been a problem in this neighborhood. The Property Manager, Gisela, is a very nice, service oriented Manager. She goes out of her way to make sure she has addressed any issues. I would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone who is looking to stay in the Westwood area.

Great location, my roommates and I moved in a few days ago. We can walk to the Village, UCLA Campus and hospital in 10-15 min. The UCLA Shuttle but stop is super convenient and close as well. Whole Foods, Ralphs and Trader's Joe are a short walk. The 405 freeway is just around the corner, on Wilshire Blvd. Amenities are awesome; we love the roof top spa and sun deck. The fitness and business centers are closed now due to COVID, but hopefully we get to enjoy these amenities soon!

0/5 - Please don't even consider renting a place here.
As an incoming UCLA student, when I first looked for apartments, The Plaza's atmosphere looked homey and nice. Our unit did not really have defects. Only a few months after move-in did my roommates and I had problems with the building and leasing management. Friends who lived in other units complained about how there would be random whiffs of weed.
Since no one else in the review mentioned it, there were cases of stealing. Someone's T-shirt got stolen in the communal laundry, and there was another time where there was a notification posted

I have lived here for three months, the apartment here is beautifully designed, but the soundproofing is not good, maybe my ears are more sensitive. I think the managers here take care of the residents, especially manager Gisela, she helps any residents a lot of things, last time my neighbors upstairs were very noisy, the manager Gisela helped me change better room, Always solve my problem, I really appreciate it, also the managers have extensive experience to help you and give you more solution for your quality of resident life, I like them. Thank you, managers, Gisela, and Jennifer.💗💓

The manager GISELA is classless. Horrible attitude and acts like she's doing you a favor meanwhile if it wasn't for renters like us she would not have her job. She is rude and will talk over you and treat you like your renting an apartment in Compton.
Ruby on the other hand is very professional and kind. She has great customer service.

I've lived here for over 2 years now and don't have any complaints about the building itself. I'm a working professional, so my opinion of a "problem" is different than those of UCLA students. Most of these bad reviews are angry students who are finally being treated like the adults they are and get offended when they have to do something on their own.
The building is being renovated, and it looks great so far! It's definitely one of the nicer buildings in this area, considering how old the neighborhood is. It's so close to UCLA (shuttle is around the block

I was searching for a place online for 4 friends and myself. Came across the plaza on zillow and decided to call for a viewing.
Adrienne was able to schedule a viewing for us same day and was very courteous and professional. My friend and I absolutely love the new remodeled units and are highly considering living here.
Thanks so much Adrienne!

Beautiful place to live! Maintenance gets to your issues right away. Adrian is helpful at the front desk and Haim, the maintenance supervisor is dedicated to his job. He drove from the valley to fix my emergency issue in the middle of the night and was eager to help; even had people come out to clean up after :) Always clean and a great place to live!

I've had nothing but positive experiences here this past year. Management is very responsive and communicates effectively with residents regarding repairs to plumbing that will be taking place and when. All work orders have been responded to in a short period of time, which is excellent. Would recommend to others, except for the high cost which is typical of West LA.

I know this place gets some tough reviews but here's my two cents.
First of all, I saw a review regarding the internet. I too was frustrated with the amazingly slow and overpriced Verizon internet. But the apartment now gets Time Warner and I receive 100+mbps for only 50$ a month.
Second, the management is very helpful. There are regulations to every business (apartments included) and they do their best to accommodate the residents. They have gone out of their way to make my life easier here and it's much appreciated.
Third, maintenance and repair is great. I've had the food disposal

It was a terrible decision to live here. Right now I'm moving. Their price is higher compared with neighborhood and the manager there is VERY RUDE. The dishwasher is easily broken and maintenance request was ignored for more than a week. Even when I came to the manager again to complain about their delayed service, the manager dared to tell me that dish washer is not emergency and he had been busy these days. No apologies, YELLING at me. The plaza SUCKS!
