I decided to become a home inspector soon after my wife and I bought our first home. Shortly after moving into our new home, we ran into a number of issues that were overlooked in the original home inspection. Needless to say, we were disappointed.
This prompted me to obtain my license as a Master Certified Home Inspector through the American Home Inspector Training Institute (AHIT) and become a member of the Wisconsin Association of Home Inspectors (WAHI).As a home inspector, my goal is to treat every home as though it is my own and every client as though they are family.

We at ReDefined Spaces have solutions to these problems! We examine your home as a system; the individual systems within your home-ventilation, insulation, and HVAC-operate as a team. When one system is inefficient, the other systems cannot operate at optimal efficiency. We had a great experience. James went through the interior and exterior of the house. He patiently showed and explained everything he saw. The house we bought needs a lot of work and had some critters in there at one point. James didn't hesitate. He offered us his knowledge and suggested improvements. Very nice guy. We thought we found our dream home on the first time, but James and his very thorough inspection discovered many issues with the home that were deemed unsafe for me and my family. I am thankful that he caught them ahead of time and brought them to our attention before we committed to buying (we were able to back out of the offer).
