This is the best place to live in Matthews! Morgan the manager of the property is awesome! She is quick to respond and always has such an upbeat and positive attitude! I always enjoy speaking with her when needed! These apartments are located right in the heart of downtown Matthews and we enjoy walking through town either to get food, go to food truck Fridays or the library! We love this community!

For people that live here..how do you get in contact with any type of staff?! My boyfriend and I have tried to tour this place for a while and no one answers the phone...we have left messages and no one returns our calls.. we have even went to the leasing office hoping maybe something was wrong with their contacting system and no one was there..and we are just trying to schedule a tour! It’s a shame because this place is super nice and in a great area but don’t think I want to live somewhere where the staff is never there and impossible to get a hold of. Really disappointed.

This review is mainly for the professionalism of property manager Morgan Jones. I applied here and got approved however due to my lack of reading the fine print that there are no pets allowed and I had to back out. Morgan was extremely helpful through the entire process and she even gave me a refund for the admin fee. She did a fantastic job and many property employees and managers could learn something from her. Apartments appear to be very nice as well.

[4.4.2018 Wanting to add to my review once again and say that the service is back to being top notch! The new maintenance people are so friendly and prompt! Any contact we've needed to have with the office staff has been wonderful too. We've been here over two years now and love the walkable location to downtown Matthews. Also I don't know what they built this place with, but we've seldom heard our neighbors it's that quiet! ]
[UPDATE: 7.19.17 Changing to 4 stars instead of 3 because our issues did all get resolved soon after I left this review! Maintenance came and were very apologetic and helpful

I enjoyed renting from Matthews Lofts & was even more eager to recommend them as they allowed me to break my newly renewed lease (less than a month renewed) as I had gotten engaged. However, I'm sadden to have to make note of how I have been continually given the round about that my deposit check is in the mail. I have emailed, called & left messages to no avail. I called over a week ago & was told my deposit check was in the mail when in fact it was not.

Been living at Matthews Lofts for a couple months and while living here, went under a management change. Haven't had any issues with this new change and the times where we've need maintenance, requests were sent and the next day were taken care of. We love the safety of this area and the convenience of having places like jet's pizza and a nail salon right down stairs! Rent is reasonable and affordable. Would highly recommend!
