I have lived at Matthews Pointe since February 2020. Since late September 2020 we have not had anyone in the office or on maintenance staff here - except for an all too brief 3 month period (give or take a couple weeks) during the spring of 2021. By June 2021, everyone who had been here was gone. As of December 31st 2021, they are (still) attempting to manage this property from the larger, sister-property several miles away, which they have been attempting unsuccessfully to do for the better part of a year and half. Since October of 2020 there has not been anyone consistently on-site at this property

If you enjoy a revolving door of office employees because upper management like to play pretend landlords and doesn’t want to pay employees competitively then your new home awaits! I don't live here, and after reading reviews, I won't be living here. I can't even get anyone to answer the phone or "text me back" since they just want you to text them to even schedule an appointment because online scheduling does not work and they apparently don't want to talk on the phone to anyone. Seems like poor customer service already.

I would not recommend this apartment complex to my worst enemy. We lived there for one year and even that was too long. The floors were uneven, it felt like you were dizzy because they were so uneven, the dishwasher was lopsided so the bottom drawer always rolled back into the dishwasher when we tried to load it. The air conditioning did not work. We put in a work order at least 5 times to get it fixed but ended up giving up because it was never fixed. They fired the old maintenance and we then got maintenance that randomly knocked on my door and even tried to enter while I was inside working from

Many of the reviews on here are outdated and inflated. After reading such great reviews and seeing how reasonable the prices were, I went for a tour last weekend. I will NEVER live here. The office staff seemed so uninterested in offering a tour or telling me any information. The "show room" smelled of years of cigarettes. It was run down, dirty, and outdated. Not in a good area of town either. There are much nicer apartments in Matthews. It may save you some money to live here, but trust me, it's not worth how gross the apartment was.

Lived here for about a year. Started with a sublease then signed on for more time. The office staff and maintenance crew were very helpful and responsive. There's a lot of room for community events and such with large grassy areas, picnic tables, and a pool. The community was very diverse, with people from various ages and races. Quiet community though. Room I stayed in was great. Price was very good for the area. Nice location with access to 485 and 74 right there as well as tons of grocery and shops 3 or 4 min away. Never had any troubles with parking. The only negative I'd say is make sure you

I have been a resident of Matthews Pointe since 2012 and I love living there! The maintenance staff has been awesome on the rare occasions that I have to submit a work order. It is a small quiet community and in a very convenient location. The property manager has always been very friendly, accommodating and down to earth. Having an amazing office staff is a huge part of why I love living there, along with the cozy apartments and slower paced style of living (which I prefer) I will definitely renew when my lease is up!

I moved here in January from the Buffalo, NY area. I absolutely love my apartment and the entire area. It's very quiet, I'm on the first floor and never hear any noise from above me, the grounds are always kept up beautifully, and if you need a maintenance call...they are there the next day if not the same day and fix things properly. This is also a perfect area. It's close to everything including gas, restaurants, shopping of all kinds and even the hospital. This will definitely be my forever home!!
