Okay. This is our second time living here and collectively we have lived here about a year and a half. Moved in again in April 2021. This is the best place we have ever lived and we move roughly every two years for work, so we have lived in many apartments. The apartments themselves are clean and spacious. We have never had a bug problem despite living so close to wooded areas. The community is the best part. Most people that live here are families or young adults post-college. There are tons of well behaved dogs and even a dog park on site. You’re a manageable walk to target across the street

ROACHES
I saw a ton of roaches in this apartment and it was disgusting. They’re all over the sidewalks outside at night and they get inside all the time. My apartment was completely clean but they crawled in through the vents. They did pest “spraying” once in a while that made no difference and was so low effort it was laughable—it was just on the window sills. They also wouldn’t install screens on the vents when I asked. I found multiple roaches in my bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen. The front office was no help on this issue and was super rude and unreasonable with other issues as well

I lived there for over 2 years. Reasons:
1. Apartment is very well designed: good natural illumination, good use of spaces, a lot of cabinets and drawers in kitchen and bathroom, big closets in bedroom, bathroom and hall (for shoes), bathroom with two sinks, nice balcony, electrical outlets everywhere to avoid extension cords, and the most important area for me was the computer-library area, which has a desk and some shelves, where I could focus studying and working in front of the computer, it was so comfortable, no distractions. UPDATE: The neighbors are still loud on occasions but it isn't continuous so I just drown them out with my music. Hopefully I'm not disturbing others during my attempts to not be disturbed! 🤦🏾♀️ RENT WENT UP $87 after first year so just keep that in mind if you decide to move here. I love living here! I feel safe and the community is friendly. Great place to live if you have a dog, they have a great dog park in the complex. Almost everyone has a dog so you get to know your neighbors quickly. Maintenance is quick and always working hard to make sure everything is running accordingly. I would recommend living here.

I moved here recently, and I love it! Convenient, lots of amenities, and the staff in the office are completely amazing. Its nice being right next to the Tobacco Trail and of course the pool is great. I have met the most amazing neighbors. My son loves it here as well. The property manager is always willing to handle and take care of anything I need. I am so lucky I found this place!

I moved here to be closer to my new granddaughter and also Duke University Hospital. I looked around for a decently priced apartment. The Lodge at Southpoint is great. The amenities are wonderful, the pool is open all the time (bonus). There is a Super Target right across the road and the mall is a mile down the road. Great location. The women in the leasing office are extremely friendly and very helpful. Christine answered ALL of our questions and helped us with insurance and electric companies. We just moved here recently and so far we love the place. Pet friendly apartment. A beautiful complex with absolutely complete facilities. I love the large windows in our living room and bedrooms. The shopping mall is just across the streets where you can buy almost everything. I definitely recommend this place.

So many apartments that have been modernized have hardwood floors throughout now. But I find that so uncomfortable. I absolutely love that this place has carpeting. It's more comfortable and better at sound proofing between… us and our neighbors.
The office staff has been great. We had to get a couple small things fixed after moving in, and they were taken care of within 24 hours of our request. My only complaint, and it is minor, is that the Lodge lobby smells like

I moved in recently and love living here at Lodge at Southpoint! The office staff was very helpful during the move-in process. They were thorough in answering my questions and I'm grateful for that. There are excellent amenities here, especially the gym and pool. It's very quiet and peaceful which is a huge plus. I'm glad I made the decision to… move here! Excellent facilities. Fun pool and the gym is up to date. The office staff is very helpful and responds to any questions fast. The apartments are very comfortable and modern. The large at Southpoint is In a great location near to major highways and with a lot of entertainment options around. I Enjoy living here.
