Nicole Perkins 300 RYT draws from many styles to lead classes that are slow, deep, and appropriately intense. Strongly influenced by the Buddhist practices of Vipassana (insight) and Metta (loving-kindness) meditation, Nicole encourages students to practice with compassionate awareness and to explore the many layers of our human nature.
This is a slower moving class and there is something for everyone. Slow Flow Vinyasa is light and creative, but slower paced practice where you link each movement with the breath. The postures are generally held for longer periods to anchor the mind into the sensations of the body and to practice presence.
Individual classes are a delicious opportunity to move more deeply into your yoga practice, as one-on-one sessions can enable you to get answers to specific questions about alignment, receive personalized help with particularly challenging postures, guidance with pranayama, meditation, and more.
