Very positive experience. The staff was amazing and attentive. Amy hosted the tasting and could not have been nicer. Tamara, one of the co-owners, was awesome and showed our kids how to use the arcade machine. The wine is very solid, with grapes sourced from Amador County in Plymouth, right up Highway 16, and vinted in house by the owners. There was a food truck there today, and the cheeseburger rocked. Bought two bottles of our favorite varietals, the Sangiovese and the Cab. Great local winery and a family friendly atmosphere, right up the road. Will return.

We had a chance to taste wine at South Slope on a Wednesday evening. It just so happened the other local tasting rooms were closed on Wednesdays. Well lucky us! South Slope was awesome. Their wines were amazing. We literally loved every single one which is rare. Now we are members. I recommend this place.

Amazing people great wine and location. First time there and as soon as we walked in they put down 2 glasses and started pouring and telling us about the wine and jokes about putting the location together.
Then next thing I know I became a member and my glass was never empty. Genuinely good people that give their guests an amazing experience with wine and laughter. I will be going back, probably every weekend.
Also they have food trucks every weekend and live music that is pretty good.

We stumbled on this rather hidden place by accident, on a warm Saturday in February when the dozens of wineries around Plymouth were all jumping and very busy. The wine-maker himself, Myles and partner Tamara were so friendly and down to earth and generous, and every wine tasted had something to love. Feel like we made friends, and took home some fine wines to enjoy for special times. Setting very scenic, outdoor tables, hope to return.

We had the pleasure of spending some time at South Slope Wines this past weekend with some friends. The owners, Myles and Tamera, go out of their way to make you feel welcome and help you know everything about their wines. Oh ya, and the wines are excellent! However, not just excellent they offer a nice variety. We brought in sandwiches for lunch, sipped wine, and played some bocce ball. It was a suburb day! I highly recommend South Slope Wines to anybody wine tasting in or near Amador County. FIVE STARS!
