Services
1. Start with Revitalize Flow or Restore & Heal Yoga or Yoga Basic-Refresher Course (available once a year) and complete at least 10 weeks of yoga. 2. For best result allocate some of your time to at least 1 session per week. 3. Be patient with yourself and don't judge your progress too quickly. We often have difficulty seeing how well we are doing.
Yoga is unique and was developed about 5,000 years ago in India but was practiced in other civilizations perhaps thousands of year before. It was a practice used within Ayurveda alternative medicine treatment, which uses herbs & spices in food preparation, therapeutic massage with specific oils according to your Dosha, yoga Asanas, as well as meditation and specific mantras or kriyas.
Where are you located? We are in the East Mountain of Albuquerque, NM. Higher Altitude Yoga has opened its own home studio in a residential area by the Sandia Crest Road or Route 536. On North 14 (Highway 14), across from the Shell Station take Sandia Crest Road as if going up the sky area. Calle Del Caballo is the first road on your left and the studio entrance is the first gate on your right.

Marie-Aude is a lifesaver! I have a neck injury that over years has caused me so many problems that western medicine has failed to correct. I had always heard yoga would help my condition, but was nervous about possibly injuring myself further and didn't know where to start. I found Higher Altitude Yoga and worked in private sessions on specific stretches that would help. Additionally, Marie-Aude has been working with me on nutrition. Both yoga and nutrition training are helping me get off of some of my medicines and start to function properly. I am so excited about the changes I am seeing that

I am very thankful that my friend, Joanna asked me to participate in the T or C yoga retreat given by KundunYoga instructor, Marie-Aude. I've tried yoga off and on over the past couple of years and have only recently gotten fairly serious about hot yoga. However, this weekend ( April 5 - 7) yoga experience was one that has inspired me to continue to make yoga (with and without heat)-a regular part of my Life. I left this retreat feeling great. I higly recommend giving yoga a try; like anything worthwhile, you must be consistent and patient and results with manifest.

Our recent yoga/soak retreat in T or C was amazing. Lots of yoga, with guidance and personal asana adjustments from Marie-Aude, our instructor. And all muscle stiffness melted away with the hot springs mineral baths. Perfect combination: mindful yoga and soothing soaking!
Marie-Aude's verbal cues and instructions during class are excellent for proper alignment, and she focuses on "being" in the pose rather than "doing" the pose. She encourages us to try an asana, even if we think we can't do it, as a means for personal and physical growth. I have been very pleased with her style and classes.
