We've been at Indigo for about 6 months now, so it's time for a progress report. First, the maintenance staff are very prompt, nice, and some of them are very competent (Guillermo in particular). The facilities are wonderful and the location is really hard to beat if you like easy walking access to everything in downtown Redwood City (which was a top priority for us).

Now for the issues that should give you pause before moving in. Most of them stem from rather poor building engineering, staffing, and long-term maintenance (I'm an mechanical engineer by training and specialize

After nearly three years, I'm sad to say we're relocating and therefore, moving out of the best apartment home I've ever lived in. Among the benefits of living here, are: Location in downtown Redwood City, the incredible staff (shoutout to Matthew and Guillermo), daily custodial services that keep the property and common areas pristine, thick walls and a quiet community, a secure underground garage with two exit/entrance points, regular social events (free food and drinks to break up your week!), a heated salt-water pool, a large gym and yoga room, a community area for hosting a

My stay at Indigo had been great until the past 2 months. To make repairs to the HVAC system, they had to shut down all heat and A/C on my whole floor from August 2 - September 22.
The length of this project (almost 2 months), plus the timing (the hottest time of the year) was particularly unfortunate. However, I was happy that Indigo lent us… portable A/C’s to use in our apartments. It was not as effective as having a central A/C system, but leaving it running most of the day meant that I could get my apartment to a mostly reasonable temperature (though it still wasn’t as cool

Out of all the apartments I've lived in the past 8 years... Indigo is the best experience my boyfriend and I have had the pleasure of renting. Although certain rates seem expensive, the amount of security and 24/7 maintenance support you receive js 100% worth it. I've lived here for almost 6 months and I definitely plan on staying. Thank you Paul for for your patience during the leasing process. We're so grateful to be apart of the Indigo community.

Been living here for almost a year. The location is good and the amenities are nice, but my roommate and I have had a terrible experience with building management that has overshadowed all the positives.

We woke up one morning to find our apartment floor covered in foul-smelling sewage water that had backwashed from one of the shower drains. To their credit, the cleanup was very prompt, but for a whole week we had people coming in and out, tearing up the floorboards, waking us up at 8am and disturbing our workday. Now I'm being told that there is an unrelated leakage in my shower and I

We lived at Indigo Apartment Homes for 4 years in one of their larger one bedroom apartment. Echo some of the sentiments below:

1) The staff were always nice to us and were prompt with all our requests (a big thanks to Matthew and his staff). They were always professional and courteous and have resolved all our requests in a timely manner. Also, a big shoutout to the maintenance staff who are genuinely awesome. We put our requests through the online portal and they were taken care of on the same day. Same for the cleaning crew - I saw them diligently repaint the hallways, vaccuum everyday,

I have been living here for the past 2 years. Love everything about my apartment and the amenties in this building are just amazing.

People at the front-desk and leasing agents are the most friendly people that I have ever met. Service requests get prioritized on the same day which is usually not the case at other buildings.

Location is just perfect; close to wholefoods, great restaurants, cafes and a theater.

Just don't, sorry. The staff are very friendly, but you'll have four people standing around and no one can find your drivers license after checking out a luggage cart.

Pre-COVID, major features like the pool were down for 'upgrades' for weeks on end. Recently the HVAC was broken on two floors from June to August - they didn't reduce the rent. And I once found my personal garbage out on the street. I'd dropped it in the chute, but the service that takes the dumpsters out doesn't pay much attention to what overflows onto the sidewalk.

We just moved into this community about a month ago and could not be any happier. The amenities are a big selling point and we're looking forward to fully taking advantage of them after COVID-19. The complex is well kept and the staff is super friendly and helpful. There's guest parking and ample street parking for visitors. Oh and not to mention,… the unit itself is beautifully finished with contemporary fixtures and appliances. Beyond that, the location is perfect with freeway access, Caltrain, nearby restaurants, and nightlife. We worked with Paul as our leasing consultant and highly

Beautiful place...
Wonderful concierge and staff...
BUT
Terrible, money hungry and greedy management and corporation.

My lease was ending mid May of this year but because of COVID and the SIP I requested to extend for another 3 months because I was afraid to hire movers. So after going back and forth with them trying to get me to sign a 6-12 month lease they approved my requested for 3 months but increased my rent by $89.

Come July, I noticed they were having one vacancy after another and the rental market rate was going down drastically so I reached out to Matthew and Kathryn to inquire about

The place is in excellent shape, as facility management is fantastic. There is a massive problem with the management and some residents with pets. If you don’t like to see pets doing their business on the balcony and elevators, and hanging around on the lounge chairs, this is not for you.
Management doesn’t care about its residents. They just care… about the money. I moved out six months ago and didn’t receive my deposit yet!!! Again, the place looks beautiful. Would I want to rent an apartment there again 😂?
Update on 8/30/20 Still no check received. Reached out

Do not live here unless you have read this !

The only good thing about this apartment community is the location. Its great and absolutely centrally located.

I lived here for about 2 years in a 1 bedroom and then a 2 bedroom.

The first time I moved into my 1 bedroom, the HVAC was not working and the balcony door wouldn't shut. It took them 1 month to fix the HVAC with a new excuse everyday on how they were waiting on the supplier to provide some power board. The apartment was a little dirty, and dusty when I first moved in.

When we moved into the 2 bedroom apartment, the balcony door wouldn

This is my second year in the property. The first year was great but I think during our first and second year building management has changed.

While the facilities and units are quite nice, I cannot recommend this building. For starters, the AC has been broken for over 6 weeks and there is no longer a "fix date". Somehow while we have not had AC for over 6 weeks our HVAC bill has increased (to roughly an all time high). It is unclear to me if this is price gouging or borderline fraud.

The "package system" has lost three of my packages and it requires pulling teeth to get

Overpriced, bad management team, very poor communication, very noisy. Not the only nice building in town anymore - more competition now, which is very welcomed. This Aimco property feels too corporate and tenants are treated like numbers on a balance sheet.

Maintenance team is wonderful and the building is kept very clean. Maria in the Leasing Office is great.

Just moved out from Indigo 2 weeks ago. It should have been a really wonderful experience to live in Indigo given the location. However there's a quite a lot pitfalls that you need to watch out for.

1) You need to give a 60-days NOTICE before you move out unlike all other apartment we've rented. There will be a one time notice sent to your email and if you missed that email you will rely on your memory of the term buried in 10+ page lease. We've had multiple emails from management team multiple times and none of them reminds us we need to give a notice to avoid insufficient notice

I read the other reviews and primed myself to write a 1 star review before moving out.

Pros:
* Some other reviews have negative comments about the manager, Matthew. Honestly, I think he's a super nice and responsive guy. Very reasonable and a pleasure to talk to.
* The apartments themselves are stunning.
* The walls are pretty thick. I barely ever heard my neighbors and I could be pretty loud without bothering anyone else.
* The facilities are impeccable and always clean.
* Luxor is amazing. Get emails for packages and can just go pick them up.
* Redwood City has amazing weather and being

I relocated from the Midwest for work, and Indigo was one of the four properties my relo agent showed me. It definitely feels like they're in cahoots to capitalize on the vulnerability of transplants, because more than a year later, there's no way I'd choose Indigo again.

Pros:

-- Property management is fairly responsive if you need anything or have questions.
-- Maintenance is super friendly and work quickly. It's easy to put in a request online and they're completed as soon as you need.
-- Custodial staff is great and keeps the grounds in impeccable shape.

I lived at Indigo shortly after they opened, from October 2016 to October 2017. Overall, the experience itself was OK. We lived on the 6th floor facing the pool and had no major complaints or issues during our time there. (Keep in mind, though, they were at just over half capacity at this time, so the noise factor could be an issue now that there are presumably more residents.)

There was no major incident that made us leave. We ultimately just decided we didn't want to continue paying the high rent that comes with living in a higher-end apartment.

I'll highlight a few of the pros and

Just like others have said, read the reviews before you sign.

It's all rainbows and butterflies when you move it. Don't get me wrong, the on site staffs are all nice and helpful and accommodating.

However, when you move out, you are dealing with a whole different kind of beasts. The move out inspection people and the people accessing the "damages" are from amico corporate, they are emotionally disconnected from you so they could charge you outrageous.

So after almost 2 years of use, they still expect all the appliances to be exactly like the same which is brand new when

I've had a great experience at Indigo thus far. My husband and I viewed several apartments in Redwood City and felt Indigo was, by far, the best. The gym is HUGE and stocked with tons of equipment, the pool is also great, although it does get crowded on weekends. The location is also amazing - right next to downtown, and so accessible to everything. Overall very pleased with our stay!

Great location and amazing building/amenities! The gym is much better/bigger than your usual apartment gym, has almost every piece of equipment you'd need. The building has a lounge area with a pool table, many TVs and shuffle board! The pool / hot tub area is beautiful with cabanas and a fireplace near by. There are BBQ grills and a pizza oven! The units themselves are all modern and great quality, great space, etc. Overall, a great building! We're very happy so far!

This apartment complex is fantastic! It's pricey, but not much more expensive than some other not-so-pleasing apartments in the area. Plus, the amenities are incredible! Wish I used the amenities floor more often, but my husband takes advantage of the gym every single day! And we love that we were able to adopt our first dog because of how pet friendly it is. Love this place and it's location!

Factor in $483 per month extra on top of your rent and your PGE bill. They pass through the shared utilities and there is nothing you can do about it. You would think this would be far less, but it remains unexplained. Totally brutal.
