Location
The location of The George is unmatched. You have everything you need at your fingertips. The metro is literally 4 minutes away and there are buses up front to take you anywhere within Montgomery County. The mall is right across, and the grocery store (Safeway) is a 2-minute walk from the building. There are tons of restaurants within minutes’ walk. From Brazilian to Creole to Peruvian and Indian, there is always yummy restaurant a stone throw away.

The George Apartments are a great place to live. The apartment building is well maintained and has a very cool rooftop outdoor and indoor lounge area. The gym is well kept and has a great selection of workout equipment. The apartments themselves are pretty modern but are beginning to show signs of wear as the building is now over 7 years old. However, maintenance is excellent with resolving any issues that may come up. The proximity to the Wheaton Metro is unbeatable. Having the red line at your disposal is very convenient for the DC commute. Also, the online portal for rental payments and maintenance

After reviewing 40+ apartments in the area and touring about 7 of those, Im happy to that I was able to get a spot at The George.
It was top 5 for me in terms of value, luxury, and amenities.
I dealt mainly with Leo and was satisfied with the entire process from touring to moving in.
I happily and easily paid my first months rent via the Resident app and have no complaints thus far.

Well where do i start, when i first move in last year was a mess didn't return phone calls give away the apartment i choose cause never call me back. My next door neighbor told me that i would not like it here ,told her ok I'll see. Let fast forward now when i go pay the rent ask for a copy and ask for leo to sign it so that i won't be charge a late fee told me that the copy should be enough. Now it was a reason that i ask cause a late fee was charge to my acct so thank goodness i had a copy with the date and his name what the property mgr say. Than i call in about my washer put in a ticket for

After nearly half a decade spent at The George, and seeing several management companies handling the property, I can safely say Van Metre has been one of the best (if not THE best). Paige (Property Manager) and Leo (Leasing Specialist) are both wonderful, and anytime I have voiced a concern or an inquiry, they were both quick to respond. I love the housekeeping/cleaning crew as well.
Considering the convenience of Metro, Costco, and Safeway (open 24/7), The George is a gem. Plus Whole Foods and Trader Joes are both a quick drive away. DC, Downtown Silver Spring and Bethesda are minutes from this

Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value
Leo has been absolutely wonderful I can’t possibly thank him enough. During a very stressful time he’s been very warm and understanding I truly have felt more then just another “potential tenant” The apartments are very nice and everything is within walking distance. Highly recommend this place.
