Ken Method was established in 2019 with the goal of being the top personal training team in Tribeca and ultimately NYC. Owner, Kenny Guzman, sought out to create a personal training business that truly took an individualized approach to achieving client success. Ken Method takes a deep dive into our client's exercise history, nutrition, and daily habits to create a program that enables a healthy and sustainable lifestyle.
Evaluating your movement is a crucial part of creating an effective and progressive exercise program. During your consultation, we will discuss your goal(s) and go through an extensive assessment to establish a baseline for future mobility and strength gains. Besides, it's always fun to look back and see how far you've come!
Virtual personal training gives those that prefer to meet via FaceTime, Skype, or other video chat software, the access to a great coach. It also enables clients that travel throughout the month and year, to continue training. Similar to an in-person experience, virtual training consist of hour long sessions where you'll be guided through an individualized program centered around your goal.
Nutrition goes hand in hand with achieving your fitness goals which is why all of our training services include nutrition guidance and tracking. When creating a nutrition plan for you, we ask ourselves, "By following these prescribed guidelines, what is your level of overall happiness?" While we strive to see visible changes in your body composition, other factors like productivity, energy levels, and mental health matters to us.
Many of our clients love to travel and for them, having the one-on-one attention, guidance, and accountability of in-person training is just unmatched. This is why we cater to those who travel and stay fit by providing the option to travel with their personal trainer. Traveling with a trainer enables you to have a well rounded fitness experience with your own nutrition and exercise specialist anywhere in the world.

Kenny is an excellent personal trainer. Each exercise plan is carefully tailored to meet his client's specific needs, and he is always willing to adapt to keep the workouts fresh and fun. I was nervous about selecting a personal trainer for the first time, worried that I was too out-of-shape and inexperienced. I felt comfortable with Kenny from the beginning, confident he had the knowledge, experience and charisma to help me reach my goals. Our sessions are a highlight of my week. Been working with Kenny for 3+ years after being encouraged to do so by one of my daughters who also works out with Kenny. I am a somewhat sedentary somewhat out of shape 67 year old who has benefitted from working with Kenny who has been flexible in developing a program that works for me and who makes it comfortable and interesting enough for me to meet with him at least once a week( now remotely since pandemic). Lost 20 pounds in 2021 to get to a more respectable 185lbs. Hoping to drop another ten this year. Kenny is nice guy and easy to engage with. Highly recommend whether you are looking for

I’ve been working out with Kenny for 6 months. He’s professional and a great listener. I ask tons of questions and he always reply with patience. He pays lots attention to my form ensuring it’s correct. Make sure you know what you want to achieve, Kenny will make customized plan and help you keep track of each workout session. I started working with Kenny ~3 months ago, trying to get back into shape after COVID. Kenny is a great trainer who is knowledgeable, a true professional, and cares about his clients and helping them progress towards their goals. Highly recommended personal trainer for all fitness levels.

I've been working out with Kenny for about 4 months and have been pretty satisfied so far.
He specified a nutrition plan and tailors the workouts to what I'm aiming for. He also provided workouts to do at home for me, for the days I'm not at the gym. He also tracks all my workouts in a spreadsheet, so I can tell where I am pretty quickly and also see my progress.
Overall, I think it's been pretty good and intend to keep going.

I am not really a review writer but I can't help but to give credit where credit is due! I have had trainers, many of them to be honest. I have never experienced the level of professionalism as I have with Kenny. It's the first time my body has actually responded to the works outs. Kenny is the best! He is so knowledgeable, patient, and attentive. I started working with him virtually in Jan 2021 at 2 months postpartum. I felt super comfortable with our workouts and his knowledge of safe and effective exercises to get me back in shape. Kenny is the best! I see him once a week at the gym in Tribeca and then follow his exercise plan at home. The exercises seem simple but are still challenging. I'm always surprised how much I sweat by the time I'm finished.

I have seen so many great results while working out with Kenny. I used to train with him two years ago in person for a few months and recently started training with him again via FaceTime. Kenny is a great trainer who provides workouts catered to you and pushes you. He also gives nutrition guidelines and also works on your posture and mobility to make sure you get the most out of your workouts. I definitely recommend him if you want to get stronger and actually see results!

Been working with Kenny since 2019 and literally every day people stop me and say "wow you got fit." I plan to continue working with Kenny through 2020 but wanted to take a moment and highlight how he is special, especially during this crazy pandemic.
At the studio Kenny Lysol's between sessions and now that we are on lock down he meets at the park and maintains a solid workout plan at a 10 foot distance.

Well, if you've found yourself on this page, consider it a sign. You've come across Kenny and you really need not turn back. Kenny's approach, attentiveness, genuine care for his clients, and his drive to ensure his clients meet their goals, really highlights him. Particularly, he's a kick-a$$ boxing instructor with amazing technique- I thoroughly enjoyed every sweaty boxing session! (Kenny also provides Spanish lessons for those interested- haha!)

I've tried to work with a trainer in the past but didn't feel that any of them were worth the time and investment until I met Kenny. Even after a year and a half of working together, I continue to learn new techniques each week and am able to achieve ever evolving fitness goals. He's super well-educated and debunks fitness myths yielding results that are absolutely noticeable. Working with Kenny literally changed my life. At 42 I was 30 lbs overweight and in terrible shape. For the entirety of my adult life I couldn't sustain exercising for more than a few weeks at a time, no matter what I tried -- classes, personal trainers, etc. I always hated the gym and find exercising really boring.
But Kenny's approach of combining boxing (which I find really fun) with weight training has been very effective for me in keeping me interested and motivated, forming a habit, and dramatically improving my strength and health over the last two years.
