Leak in lobby has been going on for a year, elevators in lobby have been broken for nearly a year, hot water only just got restored after months of hit or miss availability, security at the building is a joke several doors not secure at all! Office staff is oblivious, incompetent and corporate doesn’t care. Awful company and a stain on our industry as a whole! The entirety of the snows this winter no one came to shovel or lay ice melt, people smoke cigarettes in the stairs at the mill all the time, the maintenance team while nice is incompetent or more likely dosent care. Marketing team. Please revise the bonus policy for the leasing Consultant. I have a fellow leasing Consultant who constantly comes in early to take all inquiry leads,makes appointment yet refuses to show an apartment and will still take the credit for since she was "first contact" however I'm doing all the work showing the property and working on the file. How is this fair? Can I also come in 15-30 minutes earlier than 9? Can I also refuse to do my job but still get paid?

Super greedy and unethical company. They over charge you for the oldest, ugliest and most uncared for properties. No one ever gets back to you, the rates they charge are laughable compared to what’s in the market. Point blank they don’t care about you they just care about their wallets and increasing their profits. Think twice before renting at a sequoia property

I was so excited in advance to see the IBR apartment that was listed as available. I scheduled an appointment for today from 11-12. I received a confirmation email from the manager advising she would be on the tour with me. To my surprise, no one called or emailed and no one showed up for the appointment. Besides me! Seems quite unprofessional. My time was wasted and this experience did not sit well with me.

My husband and I lived at The Tower for 13 years and basically raised our son here. The location is amazing and it is a great place for anyone! The community is very diverse including families with babies, school age children, seniors living on their own, young couples, older couples, some individual tenants... and plenty of dogs! Everyone is very friendly and welcoming. In all of our years we have never had a problem with anyone. The building is old but the apartments are large and comfortable - many have been renovated and are beautiful. We used the clubhouse and pool for many family celebrations

This is so beautiful. Just curious what about your residents that have a child sick with COVID19? I am behind in my rent and the YWCA tenant cares program was going to pay $5000 towards catching up my rent and then I was going to pay the difference but manager Kevin Chase refused the rental assistance because you could not collect anymore rent. … We are in a pandemic and instead of working with me and the rental program your manager refused You don't care about people. A great place to call home. Complex is very quiet and is in a great location. The apartments are very spacious and remodeled inside which I loved. My 1 bedroom was freshly painted before I moved in and looked liked no one had occupied the space previously. Samantha was great with a very smooth move in process and was in touch every step of the way. When it came to a couple work orders I needed for minor things they were fixed within 24 hours. Also just a quick 5 minute walk to South Shore shopping area. Definitely check this place out!!!

Sequoia just acquired Shore Park Apts, and like the old management continues to ignore tenant requests.The catalytic converter was stolen from my car out of my carport at Shore Park Apts ($3K to repair), so I asked twice for management to check their security footage to see if they had any footage of the event. Both times, management promised to get back to me and didn't. It's pretty clear Sequoia management does not care about anything but cashing your check. My neighbor had their converter stolen too, and Next Door shows this happening night after night in Pocket, and management cannot even be

We'd been living at the Towers since 1994 until we moved at the end of Nov. 2018. So we've seen many changes to the building, management, and apartments. When we moved into the place, we had the apartment on the 3rd floor, facing the Tropic Sands Apartment building. The view was not the best and it got very hot for 1-2 weeks in the summers because of poor air flow. All the windows face in one direction and we had to keep the front door open for ventilation. Matt the maintenance guru is seriously one of the nicest people I have ever met and great at what he does. Elevate the everyday... and profits for their firm and investors. Sequoia wasted no time raising rents shortly after acquiring the Eviva community in midtown Sacramento. Studio apartment rent was raised from $1750 to $2000 and single bedroom from $2175 to $2300 within the first month.
The staff are friendly and responsive; however, hang on to your wallet since rent and services come at a premium. From the moment my boyfriend and I first walked in the clubhouse while apartment hunting, we knew Cortland Village was our home. We knew in order to move into our first place, it didn't have to just make sense,… it had to feel right. The feeling we received walking in the door that day has never left and we enjoy our little community more and more everyday. From the Christmas cookies left on our doorstep to the miracle worker maintenance staff to the incredible office staff, Sequoia has gone above and beyond my expectations. I lived at Tower Apartments for a little over three years. The obvious issues is that the building needs renovating and the windows get a bit noisy in the winter. I have no other complaints. I loved living at Tower. I had the pleasure of meeting two previous manager plus the most recent manager Xavier who is extremely articulate, helpful and very respectful. I also cant leave out Matt who was always available to fix any issues I had around the house. Specifically Petaluma after they acquired a new property. Maintenance was exceptionally slow and failed to keep track of parts that were actually needed. They ordered the wrong part that was on back order for a few weeks. Once they realized the mistake they said they had lots of parts on hand. Especially loved receiving an email from the at the end of the business day that there were closed the very next day. Great communication skills.......

I've lived at the Highlands Apartments little over a year now, it has been a pleasure living here as well as; interacting with the caring and professional staff. Tia and Crystal has been a jewel to me they always have time to answer any question regarding my lease. Before moving to the Highlands I would pass by from work saying "I'm going to live there". and now I'm here. Tia/Crystal thanks for always being professional and helpful. Oh before I go hats off to the Maintenance Team yes yes they are great.

I moved to the Tower apartments about 3 months ago. I made a quick decision to rent the apartment site unseen since it wasn't ready to be viewed yet. I was nervous about that decision but have not regretted it one moment! I have moved so much in my life and I can honestly say this is the first time I've felt at home. My nieces and nephews have all been here as well and have given it two thumbs up. :-)
The apartments are huge and the ability to open up all the windows and feel the bay breeze is amazing. I also like the fact that Awet and Matt are always here and willing to help with anything
