The building/amenities are great. They are quick to repair issues in units/general maintenance on site. Safe and secure building. Great staff - Mallie (Property manager) always goes the extra mile, I have never met a PM so sweet who goes out of her way to make sure everything is taken care of in a timely manner and also follows up. Only slight downfall is lack of storage in unit, but you can get creative! Amazing location for having pets.

I have been at the Carter for four years. The building has consistently been well managed, despite a few changes in property management companies. I had originally picked this building because it stands out as being a cut above the many other options in downtown Redmond when it comes to fit and finish.
What truly sets this place aside when compared to others is how well maintained it is. Dan the maintenance man is second to none. He knows the building like the back of his hand, is proactive to keeping the building well maintained, and highly responsive to issues that do pop up from time to time

The process started out great with the previous management team. Communication tapered off after the change in management was announced. My wife and I were a bit nervous heading here not knowing how the building would be managed. We had just gone through a management change at our apartment in Ohio and the quality of the property went down pretty dramatically. We had our move-in scheduled for 6/27 which also ended up being the first triple-digit day during the heat wave. As a result, the office was closed (which we didn't learn until we were about to drive over to the property), and we were in

Just moved in this week and loving it here! Dan the maintenance man not only helped me with a few things I wanted in my apartment but also took me around my apartment explaining how to work the thermostats and how to properly vent the windows. I really appreciated the help and am really happy to live at the Carter!

I moved to The Carter because I loved the location and the Thrive staff (Austin, Angela and Mickey: if you're reading this, we miss you!) Two weeks ago the management changed suddenly to Avenue 5 and it has been downhill since. As I write this, Redmond has record high heat (100+ degrees), apartments have no AC, and the management has done nothing to address apartments being 90+ degrees. They could solve the problem by lowering the temperatures of the hallways and letting us keep our doors open but get this... they don't have the access code to the hallway AC. Instead of helping tenants manage unlivable

Have been here since May 2020. The building staff are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They've always been quick to respond to concerns and questions. In general, the building is clean and respected COVID protocols. In addition, Dan the building maintenance person is super friendly and hardworking. He gets any issues we've had, no matter how minor addressed quickly and completely. We have a toddler and a rowdy dog and he's great with both whether just around the building or in our unit. He always has treats and nice things to say. We love it here!

The Carter is a really great place to live, the location, very peaceful. The units are well designed. The staff are wonderful. The maintenance guy, Dan is the best, he took care of our requests really quick, he’s super smart, exceptional service from him. He is highly skilled at what he does. You can really see the passion he has for his job. He followed all health protocols, masks, gloves. He was very careful with keeping things clean and sanitized. What a great place to call home.

My family LOVES living at The Carter! The staff is amazing (they are like family!), the building and amenities are beautiful, and the location in downtown Redmond is perfect! We love the walkability to downtown Redmond, Town Center, the Farmers Market, community events, and all the trails & parks in the area. It is so much more than an apartment! It's like a resort community, but it's our home!
