I went to tour the apartments and I left feeling gross. The lobby and the outside is great, we actually thought it was a great deal until we got the elevator and went to one apartment. The building is dirty, the hallways smell, there were SO MANY bugs inside the apartment, but SO MANY! Cockroaches everywhere and lots of other bugs. It’s GROSS. Just very very gross. A hard no.

A current resident referred me to southern towers, and she said, "do not talk to anyone except Yohannes," and I worked with him, and he's such a gem! he took us on tour and has been such a tremendous help. This apartment is in a very walkable neighborhood which I love. I love hanging in the lobby. Everyone is so friendly. Yohannes and the leasing team make my move in much more accessible. I have no complaints.

As of a couple of years ago, the property manager was very difficult to work with (although if you pushed higher up the chain, the customer service got better), the building had rodents and roaches, and it was not unusual to have hallways smelling like weed or incense. Yes, the prices are very good, but that's true of a lot of places now that we're in a pandemic. The location is good as far as there being buses going everywhere. They handled reserved parking spots horribly, but that should have changed by now. One thing that was really bad was that when we showed up to take possession of the apartment

Facilities are okay, and an okay price, especially for the area. Parts of the apartment can be ugly but can be fixed on your own accord, with no big hassle or cost. Good for the price. Great first apartment.
Getting started, David Morrel was my leasing agent. He has great communication skills and would respond quickly. Very helpful in discussing all my questions and concerns. Prompt replies and great help.

I have lived at So. Towers since May 1981 and have enjoyed my experience as a resident of this fine complex. Since March of 2015, I've lived here in the Ashlawn Bldg. The manager, Michelle Matthews has been top-notch as has her relatively new assistant manager, Kristina Kremer, who works for the new management outfit, CIM, which is markedly better than its predecessor was. Recently, I had a nasty bed bug problem and Michelle and Kristina were very instrumental in helping me get rid of the pests. Both ladies are extremely congenial and helpful whenever I've had a question to ask of them. They greet

I have lived here for over 15 years. There have been many changes within Southern Towers; however, the level of service I have received has exceeded my expectation. Given the circumstances, Michelle, manager of Ashlawn has always been willing to listen and addresses my concerns immediately. I give the Ashlawn building, the best building I have lived in here, 5 stars.
