In the last 5 days, I have contacted BVR twice and asked for a return call.
Nothing. I e-mailed them next about a house's availability. I received an instant robo/automatic response saying the house was available but the online calendar indicates it is not. Non-existent customer service. Over the years we have rented several vacation homes, this is nothing I have ever experienced before. Does the owner even care?

My family and I spent a lovely couple of days on Bainbridge Island this summer. We had the best time hanging out, picking blackberries, and enjoying the atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the wonderful property that we rented through Bainbridge Vacation Rentals. The property had gorgeous views of the water and, Karen, the proprietor made sure we had everything we needed. The house we stayed in was so comfortable and perfect for our family. Cant wait to come back!

We stayed at the Awe House.
The house has a jaw dropping view of Seattle. So much so that it was hard to actually do get work done! All progress halted one day as a pod of more than 30 orcas passed by over the course of 90 minutes. With submarines, aircraft carriers, dolphins, orcas, and container ships plying the channel, there was always something fun to watch! The nighttime views of the Seattle skyline were fabulous and made cooking in the well equipped kitchen both a joy and a challenge as it was too easy to become distracted! It was hard to decide whether the rosy fingers of dawn backlighting

Making memories with my family of 5...priceless. We so enjoyed our visit to Bainbridge Island. Our guesthouse accommodations were so charming and we loved being nestled in nature. It was so peaceful we were content to just hang out but we did venture out to see what the Island had to offer. Picking blackberries was a hit!!! I am definitely a detail person and appreciated a fresh, clean house with all of the necessities in place. **Please see attached photo of "payment" where she rented my property out for approximately $6k, deducted $1700 in commissions, another apx $3k in questionable expenses including $2k because the renters needed more space (SAY WHAT?), with a final amount to owner of apx $700 bucks. $6k rental reduced to $700 bucks which doesn't even cover the propane the renters used.
First, I'm not a renter. I am a homeowner who used Bainbridge Island Vacation rentals to rent out my home on Bainbridge island.

We stayed at the Beach Cabin at Yeomalt and were delightfully surprised and greeted by a gorgeously set and decorated A frame. Loved how close it was to the water and Bainbridge Island downtown area. The Shabby Sheik really worked out for us and all the amenities were addressed. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone and plan to visit again.
