The format our narrative reports has been carefully crafted to make them easy to understand and content rich. What's covered in a home inspection? Does a home inspection include "everything"? These questions are very common, and it's not surprising because a home inspection is a specialized inspection that's rarely needed. Eric was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain things to me as this is my first time buying a home. I liked him so much I used him twice (I didn't buy the first house because she didn't want to acknowledge the safety hazard in the house that Eric pointed out). Eric is the best inspecter ive used. I have used him 3 times over the last couple years. And each time his knowledge and professional service has been solid. I was saved from buying 2 properties due to excellent inspections and on the last inspevtion everything was great. A newer home but even with that Eric caught something that was hard to catch. Saving me a great deal of money as the sellers took care of the issue.

I researched the short list of inspectors given to me by my real estate agent. I picked Eric Babcock based on his expertise in the area of mold because my wife is highly allergic. I choose additional services that Eric provided including air mold testing and thermal imaging to look for signs of moisture behind walls. This was the piece of mind that we needed! Eric was able to check out several areas, inlcuding the kitchen ceiling where his thermal camera imaging was able to rule out a water intrusion concern where we saw paintwork. Eric replied very quickly to our request for an inspection of a 20 year home we were purchasing. He arrived when requested and welcomed us to join him if we wanted while he worked. He was very knowledgeable in all the aspects of the home inspection process. The home had a very narrow crawl space which he inspected without hesitation. This company can't be beat! Just got finished today with my first home inspection and couldn't wait to get home and write a positive review. Eric is sub-par inspector at best. I used his services for a home purchase in November of 09. He missed several critical issues that I am continually paying for today. For all his supposed knowledge at home inspecting he only managed to find obvious cosmetic problems that the average person could spot. He said my warped floors at the entryway were a result of temperature fluctuations. When in fact it was water damage. His missed broken bricks around my windows and a poorly constructed deck. Allot of problems that were filed on his report were issues I spotted that he missed. I would have not purchased
