Society Kitchen, located in the heart of Santa Monica, is a family owned and operated business born out of two sisters' desire to share their love of cooking in their community they were raised in. Society Kitchen is an all day brunch, lunch, and dinner cafe dedicated to serving ingredients sourced from local farms, using naturally raised meats, poultry, and fish.

Our goal is to satisfy our guests with the simple pleasure of a great meal, the same feeling April and Nicole would experience when returning from college and heading straight home to their mom's kitchen for a nice warm home cooked meal.

This place really reminds you that you’re in CA living a slow and comfortable life lol. The weather itself was already 10/10 we were seated outside. The service and the food were excellent. Portions were bigger, which makes up for the price I guess. But overall 10/10
We’ll definitely go back when I’m on that side of CA again.

Nice casual place with good food and a cozy patio. Most of the reviews I saw were for breakfast so I'll add that the all-day menu is quite good as well, I got the chicken sandwich and it was delicious. The service was also pretty good given that it's order at the counter, they forgot my friend's meal and comped it and got her a beer which was nice!

Breakfast was good. We went on a week day it wasn’t crowded and there was no wait. Food presentation is marvelous! I would recommend and definitely visit again.

My girlfriend and I stopped here on vacation for dinner after a long day on the road and we were thoroughly impressed! Super tasty, high quality food with tons of options and variety. The chicken was especially delicious, as was the tomato bisque soup. I also tried the steak enchilada bowl and couldn’t believe how good it was. Everything tasted fresh and was seasoned to perfection. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in the area!

Checked this place out on a sunny California saturday for brunch. It's first come first serve seating. You order at the bar and they give you a number to put on table. It's nice, quite and kind if hidden in a plaza. They have bottomless mimosas for $20. You get about 2 hrs or so. The food is normal brunch food. I didnt notice anything really special. The food was good. It's an easy place to start your day drinking day if that's your plan. Service was pretty quick. They do fall behind on the bottomless mimosas refill if you dont keep an eye on it. All and all, it's a nice restaurant with garden

Good flavor. But the chilaquiles were cold and french toast a little fatty for my taste, and for the price (14$) I expected at least some fruit on them.
The young man who attended us was very kind.
The atmosphere and the music were nice too.

We were there on a Saturday morning. It was crowded but we got a table in pretty soon. We did have to wait on the food for a little while as it was crowded but the dishes were great. Good portion size and tasted great! The black&tan coffee is good too!

If you’re looking for the best brunch and lunch in Southern California, look no further. This place has such incredible, I’m confident that everything on the menu is a winner! My favourites are the chilaquiles, bacon blackberry grilled cheese, and spicy fried chicken sandwich. The service is awesome too! Everyone is super friendly and helpful.

We were there today at around 12 (Saturday of Labor Day weekend) for lunch. The place was packed with people waiting to be seated outside (as expected). But we wanted to sit indoors so we got seated promptly. The cashier was really nice and polite and answered all of our questions regarding the coffee and food.
We had a Black and Tan cold brew, a draft latte, a plate of chilaquiles and a plate of ranchero breakfast. All of it was really really good. I specially loved the Black and Tan coffee and the spicy tomato salsa they served with the ranchero eggs.
We were promptly served the coffee. But
