26 beach Restaurant, was founded by Katsu, Yuki (his wife) and sons Bryan & Francis Mori, and has been in existence for 33 years; an impressive accomplishment in this day in age. Equally impressive is the Mori Family's lineage in the food industry. In 1830, Katsu's great grandfather, who was mentored by a Shogun chef, opened one of the first sushi houses in Tokyo, Japan and named it "Kamei Sushi".
Fast forward to 1982 and 26 Beach Restaurant was born in Venice, California, combining a menu of Japanese and American dishes. The lovely heated garden has a retractable roof to let the sunshine in, or keep the bad weather out. We can accommodate up to 50 in the garden, for all your special occasions & the dinning room holds 32 guests.

If you're looking for a great brunch spot close to the beach, look no further! 26 beach has become a favorite of mine since living on the westside. They have great variety of mimosas and everything thing on the menu has been a winner. It can get pretty busy on the weekends, especially during the summer months. Highly recommended!

Came here for lunch with my wife. Nice atmosphere on a rare rainy day in LA. Nice menu with a wide selection of food. We ordered the California roll burger, the spicy tuna burger, lemon ricotta french toast and some sweet potato fries. Everything is a la carte without sides; good food but not worth the cost imo. The burgers were tasty but nothing special or maybe our sandwiches were not well done that day. French toast was fire!! My recommendation would be to come here for dessert and drinks with friends!

Delicious food in a fun restaurant...
Visited this restaurant for dinner on New Years Eve. I was surprised it was not crowded and parking in the small lot to the rear (about 8 spots) was empty when we arrived. Street parking was available but not quite as close. The restaurant had a few tables out front but the real patio was located behind the front door. The patio was nicely decorated, heated and covered; but we chose to sit inside where we were immersed in the 1960s decor. I enjoyed seeing the high booths and fun colors. Festive New Years decorations lightly adorned the walls that were

OMG!!🤯
We saw the menu (old) with a Tres Leche French Toast, which sadly is currently on their preCovid-19 menu, but were amazingly pleased to find many new options!! Pasta & Eggs?!?!?! OMG!!! The Chocolate was phenomenal! and the Melba was titillating on the tongue!
Thank you Jeff for your suggestions and flexibility with our crazy group

Small Cafe tucked away in the north Beach area(non-tourist spot so no long lines) Food was pretty good. Service was very polite. Felt like a warm, family-environment. We had "Joe's Special" & Banana-granola pancakes. Their biscuits are Very good. They have several different pancake flavors to choose from (ex. Bacon pancakes) I'd definitely come back here to eat!!

Had 26 Beach cater our work holiday party, and they did not disappoint!
They delivered to us in mid city, definitely a ways from the restaurant, and everything was still so hot and fresh when it arrived.
Steak was perfectly done, chicken was so flavorful and juicy, everyone pretty much inhaled the mashed potatoes, it was all just delicious. Oh, and that lemon cheesecake, just wow!

I visited with a friend for brunch and waited for about 25 minutes to be seated. I'm not sure how reservations work here because they weren't available online (or the site was down), which was inconvenient, but no biggie, as we weren't in a hurry. The main reason I wanted to eat here was because they had a monte cristo sandwich, which looked amazing, (and closely resembled Disneyland's) but unfortunately, they no longer serve it :( My friend and I decided to split the S'mores French Toast and the Yuki Spicy Tuna Burger. the french toast was too sweet and nothing special

I love open air inside dining spaces. You physically feel better when you walk into a hodge podge space from the 1950's you're taken back in time to a different era.
Please don't judge me, but I tend to choose the whackiest items on the menu. I opted for the Money Burger. Yeah I was leery of ordering a non classic burger too, but I figured why not? This restaurant has some of the most unique burgers I've seen anywhere from the namaste burger to the spicy tuna burger, if they dare have that combination I can't go wrong on a limb when I'm stretching my comfort. Coastal laid back vibe meets rustic vintage at 26 Beach. The indoor dining area blends into their outdoor patio which is furnished with fun farmhouse and 19th century vintage decor giving a really cozy and unique ambiance.
Their burgers a 100% different twist. For example, two come with some sort of sushi on top whether that be California crab meat or their spicy tuna. I went with the spicy tuna burger and had no regrets.
Their buffalo cauliflower is insanely good. Honestly, that may have been my favorite thing. I selfishly almost ate the entire serving myself. The buffalo wings also are top

I love the eclectic atmosphere that 26 Beach provides and being able to dine in, was a nice change. We were promptly seated and scanned the menu via their website. We decided on the French vanilla latte and I ordered the Chicken Parmigiano with linguine while my friend ordered the chilaquiles. We also got the garlic bread starter cause, cheesy garlic things make us happy.
The Chicken parm was pretty standard, not a bad thing but not a cartwheel on the sidewalk kind of thing. Adding butter and parmesan cheese lifted the dish, so I was happy. My friend's chilaquiles were fantastic and I will be

Overall lackluster experience. Food was greasy and portions were small. Came hungry, left feeling oily and unsatisfied.
Service, cleanliness, friendliness, etc was fine but nothing above and beyond/worth noting.
The only reason I'd go back is to try one of their many French toast options but there are so many other spots around so I probably wouldn't.
