We booked an appointment online to have Golden Bay Tech come out to troubleshoot what was wrong with our Bosch dishwasher. William called 30-45 minutes before the scheduled appointment time, and arrived a few minutes early. He was friendly, professional, and explained things. He was able to resolve the issue (it turned out to be pretty minor actually) and only charged the $50 diagnostic fee, which honestly is a very reasonable charge and a great value compared to the other appliance repair companies I inquired with. Tech Hjalmar came to inspect my GE Maxima Steam Dryer. He was very respectful, prompt and followed Covid-19 guidelines. The problem I had with him was his lack of knowledge in diagnosing the problem. He said the problem might be with the circuit board but wasn't sure and the service call would be $50.00. I went to the GE website that night and it told me how to press a few buttons to get the error code. It told me that the "intake flow" was low and to the check the water lines then push more buttons and reset the machine which I did. The machine runs perfect again. Moral of the

A reliable appliance repair service can be hard to find. I am delighted to say that we found one, with Golden Bay Tech. They responded quickly to our initial inquiry, and were able to come by and evaluate our job within a couple of days. Hjalmar was able to determine the part needed for a fix on our Whirlpool washer, and was able to come back for the full repair within another few days He was on time for both appts, and called ahead of his arrivals. I highly recommend Golden Bay Tech.

Joe arrived a little early after calling us first to reconfirm and did a thorough inspection of our problem. Gave us some great advice after he determined that our (vintage!) washer no longer had replaceable parts on the market. We had a great experience with Golden Bay Tech when our 6 year old Bosch dishwasher produced an error code we could not resolve on our own. The customer service was great, the scheduling process was easy, and Hjalmar was very pleasant to work with. Hjalmar was able to come out the day after I called and the part was on hand so we were able to have our dishwasher up and running the same day for a reasonable price. Golden Bay Tech made the frustration of a broken appliance as painless as possible.

Hjalmar is awesome, he came out to look at a washer, and he recommended me not fixing it. Since he was here I had him took a look at my refrigerator for a 2nd opinion. He took a look at it and said all I needed was to replace a fan in the freezer, I asked him if he was sure because I had another company (Galaxy Appliance and HVAC) came out charge me $75.00 and told me I needed a new compressor and that would cost $1200, tech said I should just new a new refrigerator, but Hjalmar replace the fan for a very reasonable price and a few months later, the freezer is still working great.

First off, Hjalmar is an honest man. SO HONEST! I had a broken mini-fridge and before he came over to fix it, he told me it would be cheaper to buy a new mini-fridge and he was RIGHT! GOD BLESS HIM!

Then, our washer broke this week. ::sob:: Just as I was about to do some much needed laundry and I was able to make an appt within a couple days with Bill! Luckily Bill was able to figure out the issue and he went ABOVE AND BEYOND to clean out the machine and replace the busted pump. (THANK YOU BILL!) I have an old-school Maytag washer that need had an internal leak. Golden Bay came out checked the problem found that it needed a part. Because the washer was 20 years old part was sort of rare. There were able to locate one came out the next day fixed it easy peasy! Price was really fair. Wouldn't hesitate to use them again for anything that needed repair in this house.

Quick response! Dishwasher repair. Joe is very quick, knowledgeable, punctual (early arrival) and all around fantastic experience with this company. Contact on Tuesday evening, next day diagnostics and part order, Wednesday called to confirm Thursday part repair and was done in a jiffy.

Hjalmar came to my home today and assessed the situation with my ice maker. He was pleasant and professional. Everything seemed right until he provided me with an estimate. He said it would cost me $225 to replace the ice maker assembly and $150 for the installation. I have attached the invoice from Golden Bay Tech and the receipt from the purchase I made for the ice maker assembly. The ice maker assembly essentially just gets plugged in and required two screws to keep it in place. I can wrap my head around paying someone to install for $150 I guess but when I researched the cost of the actual
