Claire Sandberg founded Nurture and Nourish Yoga out of a passion for empowering people to strengthen their bodies and minds through one of the most transformational phases of life: the journey into parenthood. A yoga and movement practice that is designed to support you through this joyful and challenging phase can foster resilience and allow you to connect more deeply with yourself and your loved ones.

Our prenatal yoga classes support you through the whole of your pregnancy, blending supportive yoga asana and yoga psychology with corrective exercise and maternal mindfulness.

Claire is a registered yoga teacher working primarily with the perinatal population. She is the founder of Nurture and Nourish Yoga - a yoga space dedicated to supporting connection and embodiment through the perinatal phase of life. Nurture and Nourish Yoga also offers immersive and comprehensive perinatal yoga education, for yoga teachers and birth workers.
Looking for an affordable way to get high quality prenatal yoga and postnatal yoga from the comfort of your own home with interactive real-time instruction? Want a practice that's crafted to your needs? Interested in building community and connecting with other pregnant people and new parents? We will be coming together to practice using Zoom video conferencing.
Join Claire for a live, interactive, online hatha yoga class with the Truro neighborhood community. This class incorporates calming breath work and yoga poses intended to support resilience and flexibility in body and mind. You will explore poses that are held for a few breaths to allow for mindful inquiry of your inner experience, and flowing movement with the breath.

I took Claire’s prenatal classes & 6-week post-natal foundations course and loved them both so much. Her classes helped me deal with back pain during and after my pregnancy and helped build my own mindfulness practice (which was basically nonexistent). She has such a kind approach to her practice that really supported me emotionally too. I recommend Nurture & Nourish to all of my pregnant friends and new mamas!

I took the post natal 6 week class. It was a great way to comfortably transition back into moving my body after pregnancy and child birth. I also really enjoyed getting to know other new moms - it was an added bonus to feel less isolated during those intense first months getting to know our new babies. Claire is responsive to any requests and makes everyone feel welcome! I'll be continuing with other web classes to keep building my practice!

Claire is incredible! She guided me through my twin pregnancy, both in person at the studio prior to COVID and online using live classes. Her genuine care for each person and their unique pregnancy was apparent regardless of which forum we used. I attribute much of my full term twin pregnancy to Claire's strengthening, stretching and mindfulness focused classes.

Absolutely love and highly recommend Nurture and Nourish Yoga! Claire is an incredible yoga instructor, full of knowledge and has a lovely, calming energy. If you're having a baby or recently had one, get yourself into her wonderful zoom sessions (and hopefully in-person classes again one day!). Truly a light during this crazy time in the the world!

Claire is an amazing instructor that takes time to build a relationship with each client. Her prenatal and postnatal classes where both very helpful and I looked forward to each class. I highly recommend Claire to anyone thinking of doing perinatal yoga.

I had absolutely wonderful experiences with Claire for both prenatal (two babies!) and postnatal yoga. She is truly amazing! I learned so many techniques that served me well during both labors and she does an incredible job cultivating a strong community (even virtually)! I have been grateful for her and the ways that she has influenced my yoga practice (and life!) many times over. Highly recommend!

Nurture & Nourish Yoga has been such a bright spot in my postnatal experience! The community it has afforded, even via zoom, has been really special as Claire brings thought provoking topics for many aspects of our well-being. It is challenging in a different way each week that keeps me excited for continuing the practice. Claire can take real time requests and tailor the moves to meet the needs of each person there.

Claire is a talented and caring yoga instructor for prenatal AND postpartum! Her instructions are clear and sequences flow nicely with special attention to all of those aching areas that change with pregnancy. I always feel better after taking her class, either in-person or virtually. Highly recommend!

Absolutely love Claire’s yoga classes. She actually does prenatal yoga specifically designed for pregnant women. It’s not like other yoga classes that are just modified yoga classes. Claire understands the pregnant woman’s body and structures classes just for them.
Same goes for postnatal. Her 6 week course is amazing. The community she builds and the skills she teaches last a lifetime. We loved her so much we asked her to do another 6 week postnatal course.
I would recommend her to anyone!
