I usually went to the pesto on the other location and after two years living in a different state I came back to visit family for the holidays I was so sad to find out my usual location was permanently closed so we tried this location out. The food was amazing and did not disappoint. The pasta was nice and hot and melted in my mouth. Had the vanilla brandy cake for dessert.

Let's see where to start with our experience. Arrived at 7pm and had to seat the five of us ourselves after being ignored for about 10 minutes.
7:10 sat and waited to be acknowledged.
7:20 got tired of waiting so went and asked to get water and menus.
7:25 menus arrive with a plate of oil.
7:30 water arrives. Still staring at a useless plate of oil. Order our food including drinks, bread etc.
7:45 another family arrives and within 5 minutes has water, bread etc.
7:55 barely get appetizers with no refills and haven't gotten our drinks.
8:05pm bread finally arrives almost 40 minutes after

First timer. Found Pesto on Google and I’m glad I did. Came here for an anniversary date. Great choice!
Cozy & relaxed atmosphere. I would have given five stars for dipping the bread alone! And then the food came.
DELISH!! They even subbed the pasta for vegetables for me, no extra charge. Both of our meals were the perfect temperature hot!
Service was quick and friendly. You gotta try this place. We will definitely be back.

It's quite a nice restaurant. Fancy furnishings, linens on the tables etc. I had reggiano crusted chicken w/angelhair and butter lemon sauce. It was.....wait for it......$ 28. So a chickebreast pounded out fairly thin and a pile of noodles plus a little sause. No salad no veg. Could have gotten a delicious ribeye at 54 street. With salad and side. Cooked to perfection.
So, pesto's...the muscle appetizer was great, ciabatta breadbasket, great. Littke pricey on the wine when you consider this : they are offering Renuite Lambrusco $10 per glass. I bought a large bottle of same wine at HEB for UNDER

Unfortunately, the best part of our meal was the bread. The calamari was completely flavorless. It tasted like under undercooked batter. The frozen mussels were covered in an overwhelming imitation butter sauce. The chicken picatta was covered in the same congealed butter sauce without a single caper.
The staff was very kind, but very inexperienced. It took 15 minutes to get our drinks and even longer to get our checks, which we would have overlooked if the food were worth it. We won’t be going back.

We've been patrons of Pesto's multiple times but have never had such a disappointing experience as this evening. The restaurant was extremely warm. We had to ask for bread and refills on our drinks. We ordered the caprese salad as an appetizer but ended up canceling it when we were half way through with our entrees. (3 stars only for the food that did come to our table - it was good.) Our server attempted to pick up our plates and silverware while we were still eating. We wanted dessert but we're just absolutely disgusted with the service at this point. So much for a nice dinner on a Saturday night

The cups were not thoroughly cleaned as there were water stains on them. The bread was abit overly crispy, burnt on some ends. I ordered the Pesto Chipotle Chicken with fettucine and the Pesto Chicken with spaghetti. The noodles both came out really delicious, however the chicken were bit over cooked and hard to cut into. The atmosphere however was very calming and music was superb.

I've been going to the other location for years, but it recently closed down. The people, food, and atmosphere were always great, but COVID seems to have taken its toll on many places and that location wasn't spared.
So, we began going to this location, instead. Again, great people, atmosphere, and food! So great, in fact, that we recently held our wedding, literally, *AT* this restaurant, and it was amazing!
Originally, we reached out to them to provide catering services. However, the more we thought about it, the more it made sense to just do everything at the restaurant! After discussing this
