We are located on the back side of Ledgewood Center on Oliver Road in Fairfield. There is ample parking around the studio, making your arrival and departure easy and efficient. Take exit 44B toward W Texas St/Rockville Rd/Fairfield and turn left at the fork, then make an immediate right on Oliver Road.
Turn left at the stoplight to continue on Oliver Road. Make an immediate left on Hartford Avenue (look for Popeye's), then an immediate right into the parking lot. Drive about halfway down and we will be on your right. Look for our logo on the door. If you have limited experience (less than 5 sessions) using Pilates equipment, existing injuries or physical limitations, you will need to begin with at least 3 private sessions prior to joining semi-private sessions. Pilates is not like other forms of exercise: It is based on coordinating breath and movement and balancing the relationship between stability and mobility throughout the body.
Made for Movement's signature service is individualized programming based on classical Pilates, offered as private (one-on-one)and semi-private sessions. You will have the opportunity to do exercises on a range of Pilates equipment including the reformer, mat, cadillac/trapeze, wunda chair, spine corrector, ladder barrel, and baby chair.
