Skyview Apartments is a garden-style community developed by two architect brothers in the mid 1960's and managed by the company that bears their name-Borges & Borges, Inc. Borges & Borges, Inc. designed, built and currently manages two other apartment complexes (one in Fairfax, VA and one in Forestville, MD).

My brother lived here for ten years. I was a frequent visitor. He and I agree it is an excellent choice. The managers are friendly and attentive and see to it that the buildings and grounds are well maintained. They go out of their way to help in many small ways. It's also within an easy walk or drive of shopping, the post office etc. I recommend it strongly.

My family and I lived here for about 15 years. I have lived in the area for over 30 years and these are the BEST apartments on Route 1, Alexandria, at this price range. They are clean, quiet. People giving poor reviews are probably the ones that if they lived there, would trash the place. LOVE THIS PLACE! If my parents had not bought a house, they would still be living here.

I've lived here for 4 months and think it's the best place and deal in the area! Sue, the property manager, is lovely and very good at her job. She takes care of repairs and issues quickly. The apartments are spacious and well maintained. Parking is never an issue and the grounds always look great. The huge patios/balconies are a bonus for pets and outdoor space. I would def recommend this complex!

I currently live at Sky View Apts. I lived here before until my spouse got sick. We moved to Md to be closer to family during that time, however, we moved back because we love the community. There maybe past residents who didn't care for Skyview, probably because they didn't do right by the property. The property management is great in our opinion. The property is always clean and quite. But I do notice that residents in the townhomes always bring their pets on the property to walk and relieve themselves. Why I wonder. Skyview is great to me. I have no complaints.

I lived at Sky View Apartments for the past 5-1/2 years; I just recently moved because I bought a property. Sky View is a great place to live: it is quiet, the neighborhood is safe and the management team is awesome! It is located off of Route 1 and has plenty of stores in the surrounding areas of Mount Vernon, Fort Belvoir, Sacramento and Hybla Valley for shopping! I lived in two different buildings at Sky View, the first was a one bedroom and then I moved into a two bedroom! The rooms in both apartments were large and I had plenty of room for my furniture. I hated to leave Sky View and will miss

SkyView is a pretty decent community that allows for pets, not sure on any limitations though. Most resident's are friendly and clean. The property unfortunately is pretty trashy due to pedestrian traffic off route 1. The place doesn't have pest problems, and there is maintenance that comes out every week to clean the trash off the property. The home owners association seems to actually care about the community which is rare for the area. It's within driving distance of Ft. Belvoir. Major roads near the property are; Route 1, Fairfax County Pkwy, I-95, Telegraph Rd. And is very close to Mount Vernon
