An advanced level trainer will tailor the workout based on your individual needs and abilities to help you achieve or exceed your goals quickly and safely. These sessions are a fun way to give and receive encouragement from your training partner - bring a spouse or friend! As we age, muscle mass decreases, and reaction time and coordination can deteriorate making regular exercise even more of a necessity.

Pillar Performance is a fantastic gym. The trainers are knowledgeable and friendly and the environment is supportive without the pressure or superficiality of some big-box gyms. I love that they offer both pilates and strength training, which really compliment each other if you do both. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone who wants a great personal trainer.

I don't know what I'd do without my regular exercise routine with pillar. I work a high-stress job, and the high-quality and challenging workouts are crucial to my overall health, not just my physical strength and stamina. Since training with the pillar staff doing both personal training and Pilates, I have lost over 20 pounds of body fat. I feel stronger than I have since college, and my posture is better than it has been in years. The atmosphere is much more inviting than the big gyms I've been in, and at pillar you feel like you are not just a number, but part of a team. I'll be working out

Pillar is a perfect studio for me. My trainer and I meet there once a week. They have all the equipment we need. It's clean, the people are friendly and highly skilled, and it's not noisy or crowded. The shower facilities are not posh, but they provide privacy, hot water and clean towels. The price is right and I'm happy to have found them.

I absolutely love this gym. I just started training with them and the trainers are knowledgeable, positive, motivating and fun to be around. I have some pretty specific needs and challenges due to old injuries but I feel totally comfortable letting Kim and Jeremy guide me through Pilates and strength training workouts (respectively). I expected such tailored-to-me personal training to be prohibitively expensive but their rates are really reasonable and a bargain for the high quality training you get! I highly recommend it and now that I've been here for a couple of months, I don't think

I have been going to Pillar Performers from 2006 and absolutely love it! All the trainers (Colleen, Ingrid and Kim) are great and can adjust your exercises to your Pilates skill level. I have observed the change and transformation Pilates has done to my body...my muscles feel stronger, longer and leaner. I can easily say that it is by far the best Pilates studio in North County San Diego. The space is clean, spacious and attractive. All trainers are certified and you can combine strength, muscle build exercises with Pilates program. Pillars Reformers is really high-level of professionalism. Trainers

Kirstin is an A+ Pilates instructor. I first started working with her at another gym but was ecstatic when she moved to this Encinitas location. As a beginner, Kirstin takes time to explain the fundamentals (like breathing, posture, and muscle contraction) and why they are so important. Her attention to detail in technique is exceptional as well as her patience with clients - I sometimes forget to breath (aka hold my breath when it gets hard!).

The gym itself is very clean and always has ample room for numerous clients and trainers working out at the same time. Find it behind St. Germaine just

I love PIllar Performance! Great location, excellent facility and amazing trainers. They helped me get out of my post pregnancy clothes in no time :) Very motivating and a positive atmosphere to work out!
