Move in was very much rushed, I had to have them come back to fix things correct way instead of them covering up the stuff, and it's still not how it should be. Parking at night is horrible there is no parking spots. I work late so I guess that's the reason as the lady in the office said, and that I would have to deal with it. Nothing really pleasant about living here except the area and that's all.

Used to be a very good one..but not anymore.. in the last year, you only have to be lucky to experience good maintenance or management service.
Resident communication about leasing or transfer would not be properly communicated internally and not updated in system due to which you may have to compromise on lot of things until the lease ends.
Smoking ******* has been increased.. for the price of the apartment and with all this maintenance, it's poor now.
Will all similar issues, a better apartment could be figured out with 300$ lesser.

I've lived here for 2+ years, and overall the experience has been very positive, so much so that when my husband and I decided we needed a larger apartment, we chose to stay at The Lakes and move to a larger unit. The Maintenance staff is EXCELLENT. They are quick, friendly, and great at what they do! The leasing office staff has always been wonderful to work with as well. Although the units are originally from the '90s, management does a great job of keeping them modern and updated, with a very attractive open concept. Our apartment is cozy, homey, and a fantastic price for the location and quality

I lived at the Lakes for 2 years. Primarily, I was drawn in by the location to everything. I did not have a car for the first year of living there and it was nice that Trader Joe's, Kroger, and Fresh Thyme were all in walking distance.
I lived in a renovated unit and would say it is nice, however, not necessary since rent is already considerably high. The flooring, counter tops, appliances, and in-unit washer/dryer were all great features. The pool is nice, never really crowded and can only be accessed with a key fab. The gym is abysmal, but luckily there is a Planet Fitness near the Fresh Thyme

I have lived at The Lakes for over a year and a half and have been very pleased with my apartment, the apartment community, the management, and the maintenance staff. The management team and maintenance staff are always friendly and quick to respond and resolve any issues that I have with my apartment. I couldn't ask for a better place to live. I feel safe living here with my children. There have been no issues with security the entire time that I have been here. Neighbors are friendly and respectful of one another, the grounds are well-kept and beautiful, the pool and grill/picnic area are a wonderful

My experience residing here at the Lakes Apartments has been nothing but pleasant! The facilities are well kept and the landscape always looks nice and pretty. The neighbors are rather nice and the same goes for all the people who work here. They have been welcoming and attentive. Especially when I first moved here last August. I had to postpone my move-in date twice due to an expected situation and they were very patient with me. Additionally, upon my arrival the staff waited on me - despite being a bit after 5pm on a Saturday - and the apartment was clean and contained a "welcome" basket. Such

My husband and I have been living at The Lakes for the past two years and we have only good things to say. We switched from a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom and the staff were very helpful during our move. The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, never any safety concerns. Maintenance team is very prompt the few times we have had any minor issues. Office staff is always welcoming and responsive. The development has a nice picnic/BBQ area near the swimming pool, as well as a tennis court, a car wash area, and ample parking spots. We're new residents at The Lakes but so far we couldn't be happier to be here. The staff has been fantastic from Day 0. They showed us around the property and made the whole application process super easy. They set proper expectations about amenities and move-in and everything has been a breeze so far! Even when we've had a couple small maintenance requests, they've been completed timely and efficiently. They're also incredibly pet friendly - and have no breed restrictions! The location is convenient, floorplans are great, and it's an all around comfortable property to live in. Highly recommend

During my apartment search I noticed it’s difficult to determine a good apartment community judging by the reviews as they are often very mixed. I’ve determined that most people who are having a great living experience review less often than people who have bad ones. Since, my experience is so positive I wanted to contribute my valuable experience.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Lakes! It has been my favorite apartment I have ever been in. From the super friendly office staff, to the quick and hard working maintenance crew. They keep the grounds looking clean & attractive and assist all the residents in keeping everything in working order. Absolutely love this tight-nit community and the gorgeous lake view is something I really enjoy being able to see from my bedroom. I feel safe here and that is always a plus in my book!

I recently moved into a new apartment at The Lakes. From the time we walked into the leasing office, to the walk through of the model apartment and even now as a resident, I can say that I am extremely happy that I wandered into this place. All the staff are super friendly and are always willing to help in any way possible. The office sends out email/text reminders to keep the residents up to date on activities for the upcoming week. The maintenance crews are abundant and always diligently completing tasks around the complex. You see them out bright and early in the morning and also into the

I chose the lakes apts for the maintenance reviews and the distance from work. After 8 months here i regret that choice. They are very good at keeping the grounds looking nice the yard crews are out at 600 pm at night blowing leaves with there gas blowers. That's not to bad if you don't work early in the morning. I had water running from the base of the wall at midnight and they showed up and got the water stopped after I told them it might be the apt next door with a water leak. There aren't eny children that play out side here but that's good because most people speed thru
