Motivate Personal Physical Rehabilitation
Motivate Therapy is the premiere pelvic health clinic, employing Occupational and Physical Therapists for a counter-balanced approach to your outpatient rehabilitation. We are dedicated to providing individualized selfcare solutions for chronic health conditions. Ignoring the signals of pain, leakage or urgency will only lead to more problems.

Your mindset, attitude and daily beliefs make all of the difference between surviving vs thriving. Change is possible. It takes commitment and practice to counter-balancing your life, creating new healthy habits. The symptoms of neurogenic bowel dysfunction comprise constipation and fecal incontinence.
Services
The Motivate team continuously learn and collaborate. We study alongside each other to bring you the gold-standard in integrative, whole-body health, outpatient rehabilitation for your specific symptoms. Denise and her team train and mentor many PT's and OT's, PTA's and COTA's her integrative approach in the field of pelvic health and chronic pain rehabilitation.
We are here to help guide you towards whole-body healing. Embracing change as a part of life gives you the control. We educate and empower so that you can age smart through every stage of your life, no matter the obstacles. Denise Nichols is an Occupational Therapist, pelvic floor therapist and owner of Motivate Therapy.
As life will do, it through Denise for a loop. Neurological Lyme was dumped into her lap (or brain and spinal cord to be more precise). For the past 5+ years she has had to learn to live, hand-in-hand with all of the symptoms and challenges that she has helped her pts, over the years, learn to thrive with.
Whether you have symptoms right now, (or are simply scared that you may have to live with pads like your grandma), be proactive. Improve the quality of your life and your future. Re-connect with your mind and body through specific exercise and education to improve control of what is happening to you right now.
While it is best to go through our therapy program before and after surgery (like you would traditionally for your shoulder, hip, or knee) it is never too late to deal with pain, scarring and movement problems related to surgery. We guide you towards seeing those dysfunctional patterns and then teach you how to change them through awareness of behaviors such as posture and then improve movement and core length and strength.

I had not heard of pelvic floor therapy until I mentioned some issues I was having with my doctor and she recommended Motivate to me. I also had never thought of there being muscles in the pelvic floor area and that their tightness or looseness could cause issues in that area as well as lack of blood flow. I am very optimal health-oriented so decided to check out their services and I was very impressed and learned a lot and got better! The owner is wonderful and very enthusiastic and giving. I worked with several therapists and they were all great-supportive, patient and good at explaining. They
