Discover a new type of therapy that restores your body - instead of masking pain and problems. We are a new wave of therapy that uses alternative methods to treat pain while stabilizing, strengthening, and bringing out the best in your body. We treat body aches and pains using alternative therapy and strengthening rather than drugs or surgery.

We practice a form of structural massage called Neurosomatic Therapy. This type of clinical massage, founded by Paul St. John, begins with a very detailed postural analysis. We measure boney. Yamuna Body Rolling is a low impact approach to healing and gaining strength which utilizes a specialized exercise ball as a treatment method that's accessible for all bodies.

We practice a form of structural massage called Neurosomatic Therapy. This type of clinical massage, founded by Paul St. John, begins with a very detailed postural analysis. We measure boney landmarks to create a map of how your body may be compensating. These compensations are a departure from the "blueprint" of how our posture should be as human beings.
Our Pilates instructors come from the highly sought after Kane School of Core Integration. The Kane School in NYC is an elite training program combining classic Pilates principals with a clinical approach resulting in a therapeutic and strengthening outcome.

This type of Pilates, on the mat or apparatus, focuses on detailed biomechanics and hands on cues that safely give the body the "blueprint" for anatomical neutral which will essentially help you maintain good posture. We have observed outstanding results from the combination of Structural Therapy and Pilates.
Yamuna Body Rolling is a low impact approach to healing and gaining strength which utilizes a specialized exercise ball as a treatment method that's accessible for all bodies. The extraordinary effect of Yamuna is due in part to its multidimensional method of stretching muscle fibers, compared to regular conventional stretch methods, that opens and strengthens the body, enabling you to move more freely.

I’ve been to a ton of massage therapists, chiropractors, and doctors over the years to try to understand and fix my pain. The body center has a totally different philosophy from all of those folks and it makes more sense than anything I’ve ever heard. They identify your structural and postural problems and then work to get you back in balance. They understand how the whole body works together and don’t just try to treat one part. Besides that, they are lovely people. I can’t recommend them enough

Give someone a fish, you feed them for a day. Teach them to fish, you feed them for a lifetime. The Body Center has changed my perspective on healing, strengthening, and body awareness. Shila is a genius when it comes to analyzing your faulty movement patterns and teaching you how to unwind your tightness by yourself at home. As someone who has suffered from chronic pain and tightness, the lessons learned here have been invaluable to my daily well-being. This is not some generic "here are exercises to do at home" type of place- you are taught how to understand your body through nuanced workout

After having no luck with reducing my severe hip pain with my primary care doctor, I sought out Delfina. With her knowledge of massage, yoga, and her warm and kind personality, I knew she would be able to help me. For our first meeting, she coordinated her schedule to get me in sooner. After just one session with her, my pain was reduced drastically. After a few more sessions, I was as good as new. Not only did she help reduce my pain, but she also explained what was causing it and we talked about habits contributing to the cause. She gave me home exercises and provided knowledge so I can monitor

This place is incredible and changed my life. My entire 20's were limited with chronic physical pain and The Body Center helped me turn it around and gave me a new career path. I received extensive treatment in the summer of 2018 and it reduced my pain, improved my functional movement, and helped me learn about my imbalances and distortions. Between Neurosomatic Therapy and Pilates the therapists here can help you fix your pain by giving you hands on treatment and exercises for you to do on your own that will benefit you and your unique posture and limitations. If you feel stuck and unable to exercise

I am a professional organizer and I am constantly bending, lifting and simply overworking my body on a regular basis. Without Shila’s help I would be in constant pain. She has consistently helped various body parts work through several degrees of pain and movement. I generally see her once a month to keep my body in good working order but if I’m experiencing a particular problem I may go more often. She also has Pilates instructors that she works closely with in regards to specific exercises that will strengthen muscles to help my problem areas. Everyone that works at Body Center St Pete has

I have been visiting the Body Center St. Pete for about 8 months now. I was initially searching for help and treatment that could maybe ease chronic pain from scoliosis. I have learned so much from the team here, everyone is extremely knowledgable and caring. Neurosomatic Therapy is something that anyone with any pain should seek out! I thoroughly enjoy coming in for structural therapy which helps with so much more than your typical aches + pains - total body alignment. I have been coming in consistently for physical therapy/pilates and with their unique + well thought out approach, I've finally

I no longer need the toe joint replacement three different foot doctors recommended. I am gaining structural alignment and retraining areas which have not been used due to my own dysfunctional patterns from my employment. I have had a highly individualized plan that requires and respects my input which is totally unlike conventional medical treatment which offers one size fits all approach for treatment and healing times. In my experience this process is getting to the root of the problem so we can resolve it and evaluate that outcome. I cannot believe that my swelling went away, I am mobilizing

With a challenging bike tour from Lookout Mountain, TN to Tallahassee, FL on the horizon, I was concerned with a pain in my right hip, one I usually experienced after around 30 miles on my bike. I'd seen Zoe previously and with 3 treatments she'd totally eliminated the numbness in my hands and fingers I'd experienced while bike riding. This time, once again, Zoe took careful measurements and went to work. I felt better immediately but knew the test would come on the bike. The next week, I rode 35 miles, no pain! Then the true test, 8 consecutive days of riding, 50 miles per day, and LOTS of hills

Zoe does structural therapy at the body center to help me with my paulsy caused by nerve damage in my left arm. I suffer from tension and paid due to the limited range of motion I experience. She has helped me regain my range of motion and allows me to help work toward a healthier state each month! Love the time I spend here. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I had tried multiple types of therapy to alleviate chronic back pain. Body Center was my last stop before biting the bullet and having back surgery. Essentially through a combination of structural therapy with Shilla and corrective exercise with Maria, I went from unable to walk 100 yds to walking 5 miles or more in 2 months. How this worked was, Sheila worked on my muscles releasing tight areas correcting imbalances and posture. Then working with Maria personally designed exercises that strengthened weak muscles and stretched overworked muscles. From my experience it is important that you utilize
