I do have to say this restaurant went above & beyond to help celebrate my son's graduation dinner. After going to another restaurant that refused to service us. Thank you Celeste for welcoming us in when we should up. Also thank you to the photographer for capturing precious moments when we were too busy talking & enjoying ourselves. Thank you mostly to our awesome waitress Belem who took care of our needs even though she had a full room & it was her birthday too! Usually excellent service with curbside or in house dining.
But, my expectations is if you are participating with delivery services that your high standards for food preparations and quality are maintained.
There are no discounts made with delivery orders so do not understand, especially with a pandemic and some customers physically may not be able to leave their homes or feel like cooking, who take the opportunity to participate in a delivery option of your food....will receive the poorest preparation of food....unfit for consumption .

Food was good, prices were fair. Our waiter at the bar was helpful in ordering. We were split between items, and he custom ordered plates for us. Mine was the choice between cheese and chicken mole enchiladas. He ordered me a #1 special plate with 1 cheese and 1 mole enchilada, a tamale and a crispy beef taco. My friends was debating trying the bacon wrapped shrimp, so he added 2 of them as a side. I suggested to my friend the tortilla soup as well, which many have reviewed and commented was very good, he agreed with the reviews.

SERVICE WAS EXCELLENT!! Food was a bit pricey compared to many of the local restaurants. We really liked the carne Guisada. Only negative was the salsa. It was very thick and almost sweet like tomato paste. It was really bad. We normally polish off several bowls of salsa and 2 containers of chips. GF and I hardly touched it. The green sauce I asked for was pretty good.

Salsalitos is a great neighborhood Mexican restaurant. Great food and quick service. The prices aren’t bad and the staff is friendly. Not super fancy but definitely a step up when compared to the hole-in-the wall Mexican restaurants. Great place for a family dinner, a date or to hit the bar and grab a quick bite to eat. Highly recommend

Tonight one star is very generous. This is sad because Salsalito’s on Nacogdoches Rd has been one of my favorite restaurants for many years. I am not saying I won’t give them another chance but this has probably been my worst experience at any restaurant. At 5:43 pm I called and placed an order for curbside pickup. I asked how long and was told approximately 25 minutes. Beef fajita taco salad and chips and queso. I waited a bit and drove over to pick up my order. I called them from their parking lot to tell them where I had parked at 6:07 pm. I gave the man who answered my name and parking

We got seated quickly even though it was a little busy. The staff was very friendly and took our order. The chips and salsa were a bit disappointing, the salsa was more of a ketchup consistency. We got the tortilla soup and the child's cheese enchilada plate. Both were very good and the child's playe was surprisingly big. The tortillas were really good!

Overpriced! .... Only 2 bean and cheese Chalupas for $10. I had to ask for diced tomatoes.. No rice or beans come with the plate, that's an extra $5. The Chalupas themselves break when you try to pick them up. Corn tortillas too were too thin..
Salsa taste like tomato sauce not salsa. I guess if your looking for atmosphere, this is the place but food is not authentic~
