I hadn't PR-ed on my 2k all season and after one session with Kristin, I PR-ed by 3.6 splits. She was a game-changer! When I was a kid, I was teased about how I huffed and puffed when I ran. I joined Kristin's Fit Well Women to get in shape for retirement! I was not pleased with the state of my body, strength, inches, and energy. I wanted to do something nice for myself. Hiring a one-on-one personal trainer was a little out of my league, but the way Kristin runs this community it feels like I have a personal trainer!
Initially the workouts and exercises were hard. I did them the best that I could and after a few months I was able to do all the exercises. We do quarterly evaluations, and it is amazing to see the progress. Between November 2020 and November 2021, I lost 22 pounds

Working with Kristin has been AMAZING! I love her training style and really appreciate the small group classes she offers. She puts in so much thought and effort into each class and every class is different and never the same! The classes are always fun, and you definitely get your butt kicked each time. I really liked that the class is small enough that she has time to look at each of our movements and can correct anyone doing the exercise incorrectly!

Every month there is a different goal/challenge that she holds you accountable for and those challenges have really helped me stay on course

TDLR- If you're a woman who prefers to workout in a women only environment then I highly recommend joining Kristin's workout community. You'll feel engaged, encouraged, and empowered through her workouts. Kristin is truly a trainer who cares about you and your physical and mental well-being.

I'm so grateful for the work I did with Kristin. Over the course of two years I learned how to create a completely different relationship with my body and its needs. I found Kristin on Yelp when I was searching for a way to get better results from my workouts. I'd been religiously doing group fitness classes at my gym for years, but the results had been... minimal. I needed someone to push me (gently). I needed more accountability. I needed goals. Kristin is a great trainer. Her classes are tough yet do-able. She coaches from a place of positive intent and belief. She builds a nice community among the women in the class. I do a once a week class and it is tough enough that it forces me to work out at least 2 other times a week, which is great bang for your buck! We do a different circuit training every week and the variety keeps it interesting. And hard. Did I mentioned how hard her workouts are, in a good way! Kristin's circuit training classes have been just such a great experience. Not only am I the strongest I have ever been, feel healthier, have lost weight and enjoy the workout, but Kristin has just done a fantastic job at fostering teamwork and community among everyone in the classes - which really makes her classes more unique and special than other circuit/workout classes. Everyone is welcoming and there to support each other, whether it's your first class or if you've been coming forever. Definitely 5 stars!

So I'll be honest, I hate cardio. I am not a runner. Before starting with Kristin I had also never really worked with a trainer. I joined Kristins circuit training class and have learned a few things about myself, like:
-I can make it through several really hard exercises in 1 minute intervals
-Having someone yelling at me, actually does make me work harder (and its all positive yelling ,like -go! you got this! your getting stronger!)
-I can almost run a full mile now and not die
-Variety is key, and no two weeks are the same with work outs

Kristin is what I call an evolved trainer, which to me is someone who listens intently to their clients and customizes the workout to their needs and abilities. I sought Kristin out because she had a caring spirit about her where you felt she wanted to help you be the best version of yourself. She provided not only exceptional workouts, but also food tips and meal plans to help you live a healthier life. I can't say enough positive things about Kristin! A year ago, I could not motivate to exercise; even the thought of it made me feel tired and overwhelmed, and any previous efforts to attend exercise classes on a consistent basis had failed. But I had gotten to a point where I was feeling weaker than I had ever felt in my life and I hated looking at my body in the mirror. So I pushed myself to call Kristin, knowing that the only way I could get over the hump was with someone's direct instruction.

Kristin is a great trainer. I joined her class about a year ago, and really enjoyed it. The class has always challenged me with dynamic exercises that helped me on weight loss, and gained strengths over the time. She was also being very patient and approachable to me during training and even after class explained on choosing appropriate sport equipment for home use. I would definitely recommend her class to anyone that has training needs simply because Kristin rocks!!

I have always struggled with my weight and though I have lost and gained and lost a lot of weight over the years, I had never approached my weight loss efforts from a perspective of long term health, strength and good nutrition. I had mentioned to my husband that I was thinking about a personal trainer and being the incredible guy he is, he did all the research and interviewing of trainers and he surprised me with a couple of months of training with Kristin. I started working with Kristin to lose weight. I didn't really know where do to start. There is a lot of information and different diets out there. I wanted something that would be effective and without leaving me feeling like I had no energy. With rowing practice four days a week, I was concerned that a drastic diet change would have negative impact on my performance. A few of my rowing teammates have been working with Kristin and recommended her highly. After talking with her on the phone, I was convinced.

I've worked with several personal trainers over the years. Most of them of have been good, some were merely eh. Kristin far and away is the best one. Here's why: she actually gives a damn about you as a person, not just as a client. That really does make a huge difference. She tailors workouts that meet your needs, both physically and mentally. She pushes you to work your hardest, and is encouraging and understanding when you're "just not feeling it". I'm taking a circuit training class with Kristin and it's great! She has a really nice structure to the class--a familiar warm up routine, surprises for circuits each week, a routine cool-down and then a stretching session and section on diet and eating healthy. Somehow she fits it all in an hour! Every week we get an amazing work out. Kristin is really encouraging and kind but pushes us too. She's got a great balance in her approach that is motivating. I highly recommend working out with her.

I found Kristen when I was browsing through Yelp, on a mission to find a local trainer. I reached out and within hours she had replied, so that was a positive sign already. I have been working with Kristen for about three weeks now and I already feel much better. I have learned to incorporate Fitness into my daily habits even if it is a slow start. I first found Kristin Hedstrom by looking for Yelp reviews, exactly as you're doing right now. The "end of the story" is that I've lost 102 pounds so far, working with Kristin, but more about that later.

I'm sure you have all been through this scenario: You start a membership at a gym or attend some classes with the intention of turning around your fitness and health. Then you get busy, life gets in the way, and with no one to hold you accountable the routine drops off.

When I started looking into personal training, I had gone through years with a variety of gym, cross fit, and class-pass memberships without any good regularity. My goal was relatively simple at first - to find a way to exercise and stay active consistently that worked with my busy work schedule. My hope was this would translate
