Not gonna lie, came in without a reservation so my only option was to sit at the downstairs bar. I was skeptical at first, but as soon as I seen Macallan 25 on the shelf I decided to stay. Very limited menu downstairs, but for what its worth I'm glad I stayed.
I had the wedge, short rib, and brownie. The short rib was one of the most tender and delicious short ribs I've ever eaten. The sauce was absolutely delicious. I would come back just for that.
The service at the bar was awesome. Vidal and Scott not only were super friendly and welcoming - but they were on point with every recommendation

I have been to Bohanan's once as a guest and once for a celebratory birthday dinner. It is hands down the best steakhouse I have been too. My husband's line of work we get taken to many but nothing compares to Bohanan's. We always start in the bar for cocktails, the bartenders make it an art. There is something magical when you are then taken to the elevator and shown to your table, the attentiveness is wonderful. Every waiter we have had knew their wine, the menu backwards and forwards. The steaks melt in your mouth and the sides, appetizers, desserts are all top. The prices are high but well

The moment you enter this place it's like you've entered another world. The food here is absolutely stunning and delicious. From the bread, to Sashimi, Oysters, Crab Cake which was the highlight of appetizers. Than the Entrees and sides. Starting with the Truffle Fries which are so good with a taste you will always remember and than the Mac and Chesse and Mash Potatoes will make you question everything that's how good it was. We went for an early dinner last night before we attended the Lion King at the Majestic Theatre. We had drinks and an amazing dinner. Our server, Maya was superb as usual. The service and quality of the food… are reasons why we always go there before going to the theatre. Having season tickets means that we get to go often. There is nowhere else that we will be going. This is why I have already made my reservations for the next two musicals! Keep doing what you do best!

Had my birthday dinner here and it was the best decision ever. Of course, I made the reservations months in advance as this place fills up! Ground floor entrance is where one of the restaurant's bars is at, I'm guessing like a waiting area while waiting for your table? Main dining room is on the second level. The place is in a prime location in downtown S.A. and walking in, it shows. Very elegant table settings and ambiance. Dress code is Texan casual (iykyk) but if you dress up, you won't feel out of place. Our server Steven was great! Very knowledgable and helpful with questions about the menu
