Services
We believe in recycling, reducing, and reusing bicycles and components. If you're considering getting a new bike, or have an old one you don't use anymore, you're welcome to bring it in to have us sell it for you for store credit or cash. Our consignment program is one way we keep waste out of the landfill (and your garage).

I've gone to z cycle multiple times since I first heard about it a year ago. Every time I go they are so helpful and friendly and go above and beyond to get my bike what it needs. They are so honest and have always let me know when there are more affordable options for an issue my bike is having. Recently, I lost my bike lock key and they came over to my apartment building to cut the lock for me. Thank you!!

Junior staff are lovely. LOVELY. Owner is nice - to a point. Responsive on email/phone. Assured could fix flat ebike tire - no problem. Tire fixed. Broke $200 sensor on brand new bike. Blamed bike. Didn't replace. Also: owner adjusted my handlebars (without asking) 'because they were wrong.' Icing. Never going back.

The staff is super helpful and super friendly. I found a daily commuter here for really cheap. This is such a great concept. I highly recommend visiting the friendly and knowledgeable staff at Z Cycle Shop if you're looking for a bike! Ask for Nando (name on my receipt), he is the smart, energetic and friendly young man who sold me my bike and helped me out.

Friendly, geekishly enthusiastic (in a good way) service from Dimitri, the owner. Staff full of badass women mechanics and bike folks makes my so happy to see - i remember not so long ago how extremely rare it was to not be the only non-dude in a bike space and all the inevitable nonsense that went with it. Progress!
Caveat: they're slow and very busy all the time so don't drop in thinking it's gonna be a quick stop, but supporting this neighborhood spot is well worth a bit of extra time.

Great, friendly buzz, exceptional service, reasonable service prices, and special thanks to Sam for making my recumbent bike safer to ride with a tall flag and a secure basket. Dmitri (owner) and Chris were also helpful and friendly. Ivan got my bike computer installed as well. These folks are problem solvers. Top drawer!

Amazing shop and the staff are the best. Helped me get my bike on the road. It needed a little more than I could afford at the moment. Staff was not pushy or judgmental. They helped me with what was immediately needed to ride. Explained everything they were doing and why. I will 100% come back for the rest of the work I need done and any accessories or future bike needs I may have. Thanks to Melissa specifically for all your help!

Two stars for being friendly and nice, but we are very disappointed in our experience. We got a flat tire while biking on vacation. My wife found this shop and saw it had all these great reviews so we stopped in. They patched it and we were on our way. We set the bike in the yard at the airbnb and went out for the night. The next morning the tire is flat again. We hadn't ridden the bike at all. We decided to go back and give them the chance to make it right. We took an hour of our time to drive back over, have them "fix" it, and then drive back to the airbnb. We set the bike in the yard again and

I showed up because I was having issues with my hydraulic disc brakes. Melissa was super helpful and even let me borrow a bleed bucket to get the air out of the system. It was exactly what I needed and they helped me out for free! It's awesome to have such a nice bike shop in my neighborhood. I'll definitely be coming back here regularly

I had a great experience here. Although they didn't have a bike that worked for me... (I am very tall) the owner was really great about helping me locate another bike on craigs list with an offer to trade in my old bike for $ toward fixing up the new one. They even helped me with my rack installation that I had purchased elsewhere. Awesome customer service!

Best bike shop I've ever been in! Dmitri & the whole crew care about the community and adding positivity to this world. They're down to help you with your bikes across the spectrum - they custom built up an incredible touring bike for my cousin with all fresh parts, and they've got tons of used pieces if you need a fix on a (financial & environmental) budget. I've been going to Z Cycle for 3 years and I cannot recommend them enough.

Bought a used bike on Facebook Marketplace and couldn't get air into the back tire. Luckily, Z's was only a .5 mile walk from where I live. I walked my bike down there and someone immediately came out to check out my bike. He tried to put air into it, but let me know that it was flat. They replaced my back tire in a matter of 5-10 minutes. The cashier also let me know they added some extra support to the rim. I was SHOCKED when I was told the price! I'm not a big bike person so I was expecting to pay $40 for a new tire. I was charged $16! Such a great deal. I highly recommend this

Great indie shop that knows bikes! Owner Dimitri is personally involved, professional, and thinks outside the box. Important when dealing with old bikes that a number of other shops said "no, we won't touch it, but here, buy a new bike". My beloved vintage Schwinns got excellent care! Will definitely return!

I checked out a few other local bike stores, aka overpriced, retail shops, but was not satisfied with what they quoted for me. Dmitri told me exactly what my bike needed and more importantly what it DID NOT NEED!

Holy cow. We love this place. The staff is always kind and knowledgeable. We've come for minor concerns and big concerns and they've always had our back with us in mind. They give practical suggestions and advice with our wallet in mind. The owner is always eager to help too, which I love to see. Even though they have been crazy busy the last few months they have always been super friendly and helpful. I figured since i have time I would repair a flat and replace my tire, well I'm going to have to try it a few more time to get it correct, because it kept going flat. Stopped by because it was flat after a short ride. Even though they were crazy business they were able to help me out and give me some hints to keep rolling and get me on my way. I appreciate the help and will be definitely going back!

Best bike shop I've been to! Very knowledgeable and professional. They alwys have everything I need. Dmitri is awesome! I needed a bike for myself and my son.
