Cole Spring Plaza is a well-maintained, quiet, convenient apartment community. I've now lived in two units: a one-bedroom and a two-bedroom. Both apartments are spacious and comfortable. The management and maintenance staff are courteous, friendly, and efficient. Cole Spring Plaza is a nice and well-maintained place to reside. First, the interior and exterior of Cole Spring Plaza is well-maintained and there is always work being done such as renovations to keep up-to-date with modern-style/changes. Second, there are installed cameras making one feels safe. Third, apartment lived is very spacious and lovely. Fourth, a large laundry room with many washers and dryers including a separate room/area to sit and watch television while waiting for one’s laundry to finish. I have been living here for about 5 months. Overall , it’s a nice place. The staff are nice specially Sumintra the property manger. She is very friendly and helpful.
The apartments are spacious and location is great. It’s clean. 24 hr concierge service. Maintenance is also responsive and do a good job. .
However, noise from the street is a problem depending on which way your unit is located. My bedroom faces Colesville road (major road) and I get woken up several times through the night by cars honking/loud engines or emergency vehicles passing by. It’s very annoying specially if you are

Cole Spring Plaza has been amazing for me.
I moved here 9 months ago from and was nervous I would not be able to find something nice, yet affordable. Then boom, I came across this place! My rent includes ALL utilities. They have a a garage. And it’s downtown Silver Spring so everything you can think of is walking distance along with being right beside DC.
Lastly, the staff and maintenance team is second to none. Jayna Garland is the best front desk staff member. Extremely friendly, always respectful and puts a smile on all the resident’s faces.

I have lived at this property for two plus years. I can say it has been a wonderful experience. I would like to say thank you to Sumintra the Manager who has always been on top of things. The front desk people are nice and have your deliveries ready before you ask. I have only had 1 maintenance request and it was taken care of within a HOUR. Great value, large apartments.

I’ve been a resident here for about three years. i recently moved from a studio apt to a one-bedroom. The building has its pros and cons, but overall it is the best building you can get in downtown Silver Spring at an affordable rate.
Pros: Affordable, spacious units, clean, 24-hour concierge service with great staff. Jayne Garland in one of the best front desk receptionists. I looked at several apartments in Downtown Silver Spring, and really liked Cole Spring Plaza. The apartments are nicely sized and nicely kept up, the building has lots of amenities, and i have been there several times: each time the hallways and elevators were very clean and well maintained.
I worked with Sumintra Singh in the rental office, and she took the time to walk me through all the options and get the best pricing for me. My experience has been very disappointing due to management. I have mainly dealt with the male manager. He has been completely unprofessional in handling questions & concerns I've had. After we moved in, he has not responded to ANY of my emails or requests to contact me.
Even on an occasion when I emiled at 2a.m. because I thought someone had been in my apartment while I was out. It took me having to call to the office the next morning only to discover he had passively readthe email already & didn't care to call or respond to a concerned, fearful resident, or at all address the issue.
